Diesel Green begins as a fun and casual, warm, sweet and minty fragrance with a light, modern feel. It starts off smelling like candy mints and as it dries down, the cinnamon and light cedarwood emerge along with an unspectacular, muddled fresh floral accord, evolving from a linear candy-like fragrance to a fresh, woody fragrance with a warm spice edge. It is not nearly as green as I imagined it would be. The Canadian spruce never shows up and the minty top note is gone within 15 minutes. When its candy-like top notes fade, the spice and wood dry down is nice for literally 5 minutes, after which Diesel Green becomes very boring. An hour or so later when the very sweet ambergris note appears it smells good again, but the sorry middle notes last much too long. It only has average lasting power and wears a little lighter than I usually like, and while it smells okay, there is nothing spectacular here.

The first thing that always catches my attention with perfumes is the bottle; the more interesting the package, the more likely I am to try it out. Who wouldn't have their attention caught by this bottle? The scent itself isn't bad; a little strong for my tastes, but it could be worse. Still love that bottle, though.
