Cool Water Perfume for Women by Davidoff works well solo or if you like to combine scents, this goes very well over the right cologne which in my opinion caps this scent perfectly. But the scent is awesome just same independently. This scent is masculine yet calm and cool but not overbearing and keeps calling you back for another sniff. I use many different fragrances so it isn't to say I wouldn't change... However I will not discontinue using this one. It goes well in my collection.

Very fresh, and cool! Cool Water Cologne for Men by Davidoff is also very unique! Feeling that the scent would be very generic with so many chaps out there wearing it, i tried not to like this scent, but as time passed, i failed miserably. Simply put- this is great! Very different than Eternity by cK, but goes down in the books as a modern classic. A must have, and must smell, if you're a collector!!! Very good for the price too!

Once you wear it, you are definitely not going to walk past people without getting compliments. I recommend it for anyone who has a taste for a cool breezy aroma. First shower, then apply however. Nothing worse than destroying a beautiful scent with body odor. This may be for a more older generation, but every man can enjoy it. Spray a couple sprays of this and off you go for the rest of the day. Be noticed with Acqua di gio. Give this as a gift or treat yourself. Personally, I want this gem all to myself.

I'm going to give this basically an average review because it is either a huge turnon or turnoff for most women. My girlfriend is ok with it, her sister loves it, some of my best friends despise it as it give them headaches. It seems this is a real hit or miss scent as people have very adverse reactions to it. It is a light scent, but can quickly become overpowering and the line is drawn very quickly in the sand as to when you hit that point. Hey Guys, I just want to say that I am not one of those guys who wears a lot of cologne or aftershave. I actually tend to get headaches when I am someone who wears too much perfume. But I do have to say that I am a fan of Davidoff's Cool Water cologne. Davidoff's Cool Water has a fresh citrus like sent that is invigorating and active. It is something that doesn't say that you are an old man, it appeals to both young and old. I have not stopped buying this cologne and I am happy that there are websites like this that continue to carry older cologne's like Davidoff's Cool Water and not just carry new colognes like the department stores do in the mall. My wife has not gotten bored with the smell either so I do have to say it is in the category of the old Polo green bottle now. I would also suggest a few more colognes if you like this scent. One would be Aqua Di Gio by Gorgio Armani which is probably going to end up my new favorite as well as almost any cologne by Gorgio Armani. Their scents aren't too strong and tend to fade so you don't have clothes that just smell like one cologne even if you don't was the clothes. That's pretty much it, so I really recommend that you try out the this cologne if you haven't already.

This smell takes me back to middle school dances, locker rooms, and going to church on Sunday holding hands with a girl. The only other colognes that have stood this test of time with equal popularity are liz claiborne's curve and the original polo by Ralph Lauren. In fact the price is so great that I always get the largest bottle and it somehow always gets used. My roommates always use it when we go out and sometimes when I come home from work, the scent lingers in the house. This scent is also very unique in that it smells slightly different with different people, as if it uses your natural body scents to blend making a nice harmony of scents that make it familiar, yet very unique. I think this is the most universal cologne for any occasion for any age. I would love to pass this cologne on to my son someday.

It's Cool Water, of course it smells great. I remember cool water coming out a LONG time ago. I like the smell. It doesn't last as long compared to my Aqua Di Gio and cK, but it is effective for as long as it lasts. Also, the price is right. It's a little cheaper than my other colognes. Oh, and in order to smell nice, I need to spray at least 2 times, not the one time spray like Aqua and Eternity.

I love how it smells on him, too. It is a very light, breezy , beachy scent that lingers , but not in an overly strong way. Don't get me wrong, this is a decent cologne. It is fairly musky and pleasant smelling in a non-standout way. I just associate this with gym lockers since half of the junior high/high school crowd owned this scent a few years ago. Although I do complain about this scent I own it and wear it on some occasions. Mainly a day scent for me since it has that strong musky note that I wouldn't want to wear in an enclosed office setting. If you don't associate this with gym lockers then I think you would really enjoy cool water and it's total inoffensiveness. Overall a B+ scent.

Made in France, Cool Water comprises of alcohol, water, parfum, castor oil, extract of witch hazel and hamamelis. Taking the fact that the bottle didn't come with any notes, without trying this I wouldn't have had a clue what those ingredients would combine to smell like. On investigation it became obvious that deep is marketed as a fresh, sensual yet daring fragrance and from this I would have expected it to have a light, citrus fragrance with hints of flowery undertones like Joop, Acqua Di Gio and CK Truth. The bottle itself is easily identifiable and unique in it's design. Standing rather tall the clear glass bottle is thin and shaped like a hip flask making it easy to grip in the bathroom even with wet hands. After unscrewing the silver lid I let approximately 5ml of the clear blue aftershave pour into my hand., rubbed them together and applied it to my face and neck. The first thing that struck me was the pain. This burnt after shaving more than any other product I have ever used before. As the stinging subsided the smell became evident very quickly. It is strong yet fresh initially and very vibrant. It sort of makes your nose prick up if that’s at all possible. The alcohol content is evident in the smell giving a sharp and strong feel but within a minute or so this had faded leaving a clearer more distinct citrus smell being a combination of lemon, subtle orange and a hint of lavender. After a further 30 minutes the sense of wearing an aftershave has gone as there was no rash and the smell had become so subtle I couldn't smell it at all. That is always a good sign as it means the aftershave suits my skin type. Although I couldn't smell the aftershave it was noticed when I got to work by the receptionist and again that night in the pub some 12 hours later. One application of Cool Water Deep will last for almost 24 hours. This is a big advantage. Cool Water Deep is an ideal refreshing fragrance and one that has been added to my growing list of favourites. It does sting on first application but it didn't irritate my skin. It smells wonderful and has a long lasting smell. As it is so versatile it can be used for daywear, a loud evening out or that quiet romantic moment. I would say that due to it's light fruity smell this isn't suitable for a formal occasion. This has a masculine flavor to it and is a good fit for urban social events.

I used to be an avid wearer of Cool Water back in my highschool days. It was one of the first colognes I tried out, and I fell in love with it immediately. The name in itself gives a decent description of the smell. A cool, subtle smell that is not too strong. It contains hints of orange-ish, lemon, and a minty smell to top it off. The reason I gave it a three is because I feel as if it is a good "starter" cologne for younger men as it doesn't scream "I am wearing cologne! SMELL ME!", but in my opinion, it gets old pretty fast. You'll find yourself and others getting bored with it when you wear it repeatedly. I have even had a few girls tell me they absolutely do not like it. So give a try, and see how you like it. Just remember that what smells good to you, may not smell great to your girl and I believe her opinion is just as important.

My husband’s father bought Cool Water by Davidoff Eau Du Toilet Spray a couple of years ago. His first impression was "Ew, what a cheap looking bottle". He tried it anyways, and met up with me to hang out, and when I caught a whiff of it, I told him to ditch his other cologne and wear this 24/7. The other cologne was Ralph Lauren's Safari. I used to like it, but Cool water is nicer. THE SMELL Cool Water has these notes: Lavender, Rosemary, Mint, Coriander, Orange, Blossom, Jasmine, Geranium, Sandalwood, Moss, Ambergris, Musk. Described as: Enjoying the moment means capturing it; with a fragrance. Enhancing its magic. With Davidoff Cool Water. Fresh, clear, unmistakable. I don't think Cool Water has any clear notes. It just smells very fresh, and clean, but unmistakably cologne. If I discovered Cool Water Woman first, I think I would've liked it, but I don't want to be my boyfriend scent twin. It’s supposed to be a cool scent, but before I knew the name of it, I though it was very warm smelling, and I still do. You have to wait 15 minutes for the dry down before it starts smelling nice. It doesn't smell musky like the other men's colognes, which is a refreshing change. THE RESULTS Girls will love it. When he uses it as an after shave, his face smells really nice, so when I kiss him, he smells good. It's not too strong, so I think a max of three sprays will smell good. It's true that the bottle is pretty ugly, but guys aren't too vain about those things. The Woman's version is way nicer. The only other scent that I think is comparable to this is the Swiss Army scent all the guys are wearing. My boyfriend doesn't own this, but other guys I know do, and it's really popular. I smell it on the streets all the time, and it's clean and fresh as well. The problem is that it's too popular and EVERYONE is wearing it. Davidoff's Cool Water is starting to get really popular because more and more are discovering it, and realizing their partner loves it.

Review of Cool Water by Roby Michael
I am not even sure why I am writing a review of this scent, since if you've ever been in public, chances are you have smelled this fragrance. It is extremely popular. I bought this one many years ago when a girl I was dating begged me to get it. She loved it. I have to say that at the time, I liked it too. But then everyone started wearing it, and it was time to change. Cool Water is a refreshing water fragrance. It has a fruity and marine accord that makes it uplifting and clean smelling. Like most other popular fragrances, this will not offend anyone. It has good sillage and lasts very well for a refreshing scent. It's not a bad fall-back scent (the one you use when you're not sure what would be best to wear for a particular occasion). Despite the classy, dark blue bottle, this one is strictly casual in my opinion - no formal wear for this scent. It's likeable.

If you've ever been around more than 20 people at one time chances are you've experienced Cool Water. It has a fresh, floral start to it that quickly dries into a clean, cool (big surprise) scent that will offend no one. In fact, despite the fact that everyone and their brother seems to wear it, CW tends to get quite a few compliments from the ladies. I personally find it decent, but geared more toward the teenage crowd. For a more mature, more refined (though more expensive) variation of Cool Water, I suggest Green Irish Tweed by Creed. Overall though, if you haven't tried CW, it should definitely be sampled.

A classic: cool, refreshing and spicy with a hint of amber and smoothness of lavender. This aroma will drive any woman up the wall. Many women have positive things to say about this cologne. Recommended for daytime. Either with a suit or casual wear. As you can imagine, it is a subtle aroma perfect for the office or restaurant. Just make sure you have this around the bachelor pad.
