As a twentysomething, I was in the market for a fresh daytime perfume. The other Chanel perfumes are too old, too formal for me but this is a gem. I love it how it has such a fresh scent reminiscent to gardens in the mid-morning. It is also a long-lasting perfume; I can still smell it after I've taken a bath.

Chance perfume is spicy, woody, reminds me of incense. I absolutely love the smell. I would love to have a candle that smelled like this and have this smell all throughout my home. But Im not sure I would want to go out in public smelling like incense. It is a heavy scent, spray very little. In the summer I'd be afraid it might be mistaken for bo due to the spicyness. And I think it actually smells more like a male cologne than a female perfume. I definitely wouldnt wear it on a 1st date. But I could see myself wearing this on a cold winter day for my own pleasure.
