My husband has used Caron Pour Homme Cologne for Men by Caron for over 35 years and it is his favorite cologne. It smells like fresh lavender mixed with citrus. It warms up beautifully on the skin and lasts all day. It has been hard to find in recent years and I am delighted to find a source in Perfume.com which has such good prices and an excellent delivery service.

750ml bottle for a good price. First impression is very different from any other fragrances I have. It smells very simple, lavender & sweet vanilla with a very tiny hint of citrus at the beginning. I think the silage is fairly powerful, it doesn't last for ages, but lasts long enough to not be dissapointed. It's very sweet compared to my other more manly fragrances and definitely smells very very different, and as time goes on I think the vanilla is the most dominant note. but it's pretty comfortable to wear as long as you're ok with sweet fragrance, and you like vanilla, and you don't over apply it. for me the application is the key If I over apply it I feel like I've bathed in some vanilla icecream haha, but with just a few sprays it works better

This is one of the best men's fragrance I have used, I feel this is very classy and very romantic fragrance, everywhere I go people always complement my cologne and ask me what kind it is. I consider myself a very picky fragrance wearing men and like few nice colognes many are very expensive. but everybody is not the same; we all have different taste and smell..

I definitely have mixed feelings about this scent. Sometimes when my husband wears it I can’t stop smelling him. Other times it’s just not the most flattering. I would say Caron is more of a winter type of cologne as the musk can be very overpowering in warmer months.

I will never be without this stuff. It's a staple. I hated it at first, thinking it too cloying and powdery. But few men's scents are as elegant as this deceptively simple fragrance from the great French house Caron. It's lots and lots of lavender over lots and lots of vanilla, with a little clary sage on top and a little amber on bottom. It just reeks of an elegant, well-groomed gentleman from better days. Women really like it, too, and isn't that what really matters?

Wow. The lavander is way overpowering for me here. Not to be sexist but this seems like more of a feminine scent to me. Way too floral for my taste but that is just me.
