The core of the captivating fragrance is mace, the outer lacy layer of the nut of an exotic tree, which also produces nutmeg. It is this pleasantly peppery, nutty element alongside the smooth tanned skin feel of Cashmeran (an expensive ingredient smelling of rich woods) which mutes the floral elements (orange blossom, jasmine, tuberose) into a husky whisper overheard through a luxurious hotel room wall. Who IS that woman and what is she doing by herself?

This new perfume from Calvin Klein is a wonderful departure from the typical fruity/candy fragrances that are so popular today. I've seen it described as a floriental---I think that describes it well. It starts off as a ripe floral and soon melts into your skin and develops into an amber, woodsy fragrance that lasts for quite a while. Just wish I could find it in a bath powder!
