This is another scent that completely takes me back in time. I wore this for a few years exclusively in my early 20's & I have to say, MEN DIG THIS SCENT!! This is a time when I went clubbing with my friends quite a bit & every night I would get at least 2-3 complements from guys on how great I smelled. This was strong on me at first with a beautiful drydown. White floral with a light musk layer. Just gorgeous & just a tad bit powdery on me as well.

This is a scent you would smell in the springtime in a flower garden. It is light, delicate flowery and subtle, a blend of aromas that is so fresh! Unlike cheaper or less well made perfumes, it is not that overly sweet smell that makes you nauseous. It is light and airy, gives you room to breathe. Most perfumes have such strong sent that it chokes you out. Delicate and subtle not overpowering - - its the only perfume I like to smell - and I really love it!"

I agree with the reviewer below that mentioned that Anais Anais is a love it or hate it scent. Unfortunately, I fall into the "hate it" camp. It definitely does not work for everyone. It's a rather heady floral, maybe even cloying. I'd be embarassed to wear this to the office, feeling it'd make everyone else sick.

Though this doesn't smell bad, it's a scent I cannot stand to wear or be around. It is extremely flowery and people tend to wear too much of of it and it really takes over a room. The scent lingers for quite awhile so a little goes a long way with this scent, though it seems ot be getting harder and harder to find in department stores.

This is a very special scent, like a walk through a flower garden in spring. It is light, delicate, flowery and subtle, a blend of aromas that is so fresh with just a hint of sophistication and sex appeal! Unlike cheaper perfumes, it doesn't have that overly sweet cloying smell that makes you nauseous. It is light and airy, and gives you room to breathe. Perhaps the best way I can explain it is how some grandma's use such a strong floral perfiume you are left gasping for air - it chokes you. Anais anais is the opposite - it is the little girl scent that lightly suggests spring flowrs as you smell it! Delicate and subtle not overpowering - thank God - its the only flowery perfume I like to smell - and I really like it!

The closest description of this would be " a woody floral" IMO. It is quite sophisticated, but again I feel it is the sort of fragrance you wear when you are sixteen. A very feminine scent that can be worn both day and night. Some of the notes I picked up were: jasmine, rose, and iris. A good choice for those of you who like sensual but strong florals.

I got my first set in high school. And I still love it today. It is a mild, floral scent. If you close your eyes, you'd think you were walking through a garden early in the morning. It is not heavy or overwhelming. Makes me feel very feminine.

Wow! What can you say about Anais. Without a doubt my all-time favorite fragrance. Strong blend of floral scents with a light understated musk that is guaranteed drive your man wild. Definitely a "special occasion" scent, you'll be surprised at the reaction this inspires when you wear it.

When I was 14 I tried this fragrance at the cosmetic counter at Meier and Frank. I loved how it smelled when you first sprayed it on and was even happier with it after some time. Every person has their own chemistry but for me, this smells like a clean floral at first and after time, there's a warm lemoney side to the perfume that I simpy adore! I am now 37 and this is still hands down my favorite scent!

I wore Anais Anais all through high school. It's perfect for younger girls who don't need overpowering scent or musk. This scent is very clean and innocent smelling. My father recently purchased a bottle for me after seeing it and remembering it in my room all those years. I hadn't bought a bottle in such a long time. When he gave it to me, I just beamed as it brought back some terrific memories. I use it on those days that I need a little "pick me up" to remind me of good times. I still love the way it smells. I would recommend this scent to anyone who went to school in the 80's and anyone who has teenage daughters who want perfume.

Anais Anais is a classic scent. It has been around for years. I wore it in high school for my special dates I went on and all my dates never complained about it! The scent is floral and is very light. Even though it is a fairly light scent, when you have it on and walk past another person, they will definitely smell it. It is a very romantic smelling scent.

My father bought me a bottle of Anais Anais for Christmas one year and I never wore it. It smells like something my grandmother would wear. It's very feminine but also very dated. I can't stand it. I'd have thrown it out if it hadn't been somewhat pricey. I just gave it to someone I didn't see often so I'd never have to smell it again. But with gifts, it's the thought that counts, right? :)

Anais Anais is a very nice perfume that reminds me of springtime flowers. I find the scent to be sweet, feminine and kind of flirty. I think this fragrance is fitting for many different types of women from teens to the mature crowd. The scent isn't too heavy so it is appropriate to wear to work or on a casual outting. I tend to have to reapply this fragrance towards the end of the day if I have applied it early in the morning. This is an old classic.

This is my mom's signature scent and has been for 20+ years. The light floral powdery scent is very girly and when I pass by someone wearing Anais it evokes wonderful memories of my mom. They say scent is quite powerful and I believe that. This is a perfect scent for the spring.

I received a bottle of this as a gift and use it as an everyday perfume. The scent is not overpowering but light and delicate and although it isn't my favorite perfume, it's great for wearing to work. Not very original - there are several similar smelling fragrances - but it does last most of the day so you don't need to carry it around with you, which is a big plus. A great perfume to buy someone as a gift; there is nothing to dislike about it and it should suit almost every woman. My personal view is that it is a light fragrance and I prefer the heavier fragrances, but that is personal and should not detract from the product in general.
