The combination of flowery notes and hint of licorice in this scent intrigued me, so I had to try it. It turned out to be one of my favorite perfumes! It is not overly sweet, and warms to a lovely veil of scent that lasts through the day. I've received many compliments while wearing it.

Desire by Dunhill has a very pleasant scent. It is not overpowering and great to wear every day. I was so happy to see that it can be ordered at Perfume.com since I have not been able to find it in department stores for about the past year. It was carried by Perfumania for a number of years, but they also no longer carry it. Well worth trying if you haven't used it before. I also used to get it for my aunt that lived in a nursing home because it was such a pleasant scent and not overpowering. Everyone loved to go in her room because it was always so pleasant.

A description of this scent on another site mentioned a hint of licorice, which intrigued me, so I decided to give it a try. It is now one of my favorite scents! Although described as flowery, it is very refined, and the licorice touch tones down the sweetness.

I purchased this Desire by Alfred Dunhill - EDT Spray 1.7 oz for Women because I like pink. I did not expect to like the smell but I got lots of compliments when I used this perfume. I am so glad that other people liked smelling it on me. It made me feel good.
