One day if Desire Blue is not produced any more, may be it doesn't know the reason for its death. Desire Blue is the precious hidden gem that not many ppls can realize, and ): It's the symbol of the sea, the ocean. The first and middle notes are perfect, with the presence of Marine notes, Sea breeze accord and Driftwood, which likely make you dissolve into ocean. The base note is the long-lasting mix of musk, amber and tonka bean, a scent that will ease even the most picky noses. I have bought many expensive colognes due to its fame without knowing that there other much better. I have worn DB for 6 months and always receive compliments, mostly from women. SIMPLY, IT'S DESIRE BLUE OF ALFRED DUNHILL!

This is a classy citrus/ marine fragrance. It's sweet and musky scent is pleasant and long lasting. Desire Blue is a great masculine, daytime cologne. I would recommend it.

I initially received this fragrance by neglecting to respond to my monthly automatic shipment on a subscription fragrance website, but after wearing it a few times I consistently received rave reviews from both male and female encounters. I adopted this fragrance as my primary one, and have not regretted it for the last several years. The compliments keep coming and it's a great scent!

This cologne is unbelievable. The first impression is of light and sophisticated aquatic scent that exudes class without overpowering, and this is just the very beginning. The drydown is phenomenal, it smells very musculine in an elegant way. There're traces of musk, lavender, apple, and amber crystals. Trust me, it smells exquisite in a very good and sensual way. Girls absolutely go crazy over me and my brother wearing this. It also lingers very long on the skin, and I'm talking after a whole day's work( 7 hours). Even after I come out of shower after work, I can still smell traces of musk, vanilla, fruits, and warm marine note. Don't get fooled by other over-hyped colognes because Desire Blue makes them smell silly and amateurish( I own many of them). I hope it doesn't get too popular because I don't want to smell like everyone else. It's probably the most under-rated and the best hidden gem in the mens' fragrance market.

I received this cologne for a present at christmas and was really overwhelmed with compliments. I have had more women compliment me on this cologne than any I have ever worn. Dont look for Desire Blue in stores, very hard to find within the Dunhill family. I've smelled the rest of Dunhill's fragrances and they dont compare to Blue.
