A teacher by profession, Jessica McClintock dazzled the fashion world with her maiden Gunne Sax collection in 1969. The small fantasies of a whimsical clothing-shop owner soon led to a romantic fashion dynasty, beloved by girls and women with wistful dreams of weddings, proms and glamour. Expanding throughout North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Jessica sowed the lessons of her grandmother’s tailoring skills, catering to bridal, junior and children's wear customers in more than 40 boutiques. Introducing her signature fragrance—Jessica McClintock—in 1988, McClintock expanded her romantic aromas to include her A-list students of scent: Jess, Scott McClintock, Number 7, Jasmine Kiss, Raspberry Romance and Vintage Vanilla.
