Just in case you thought her 29 MTV Video Music Awards, multiple inspirational Super Bowl performances, history-making Coachella performances, and countless incredible tracks weren’t enough, Beyonce also just broke the record for having the most Grammy wins in history.

A record previously held by conductor George Solti, Beyonce scooped up yet another handful of awards at the 2023 Grammys and now holds a huge 32 wins to her name.

Beyonce’s four golden gramophones at the Grammys were all for her latest album, Renaissance. Those were as follows:

“Break My Soul” received the award for Best Dance/Electronic Recording

“Cuff It” won the prize for Best R&B Song

“Plastic Off the Sofa” won the award for the Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance

While “Renaissance” as a whole received the award for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album – a move that seemed to tip Beyonce (and, let’s be honest, all of us at home watching) over the edge.

Beyonce drew attention to her nearest and dearest in her tearful speech:

“I’m trying not to be too emotional. I’m trying to just receive this night. I want to thank God for protecting me. Thank you, God. I’d like to thank my uncle Johnny who’s not here, but he’s here in spirit.

I’d like to thank my parents, my father, my mother for loving me and pushing me. I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching.

I’d like to thank the queer community for your love, for inventing the genre. God bless you. Thank you so much to the Grammys. Thank you.”

The crowd went wild and we were reminded once again that Queen Bey really is the forever-reigning queen.

And it seems like everyone else agreed: “We can finally end the GOAT debate,” host Trevor Noah said at the 65th annual Grammy Awards last night. “It’s not LeBron. It’s not Jordan. It’s not Tom Brady. It’s not Messi. It’s Beyoncé.”
