It’s official: the corsage is coming back into fashion.

Depending on the decade you were born in (or your taste in a certain TV show), you may already be familiar with these rose-adorned looks thanks to Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and The City.

Even if you missed out watching it the first time around, now’s your chance to catch up and, at the same time, get involved with SS23’s coolest floral-themed accessory.

Not sure where to start with adding a corsage to your look? We’ve got you covered.

On The Runway: Prada, Valentino, Saks Potts, and Blumarine

Make like Prada and add a dash of contrasting color to an outfit. For a subtle nod to a rose-tinted look like this, we’d add a perfume like Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo.

Not afraid of florals? Valentino’s gorgeous looks take the corsage trend to a whole new level. This all-out look deserves a matching potent perfume like Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf.

Saks Potts is all about bright colors this season and we love this neon green corsage. Bonus points for the oversized design. Pair with a zingy, vibrant, citrus-edged floral perfume like 4711 by 4711.

Or, keep it a little more subtle a la Blumarine, whose Resort Collection beautifully ties together (pun fully intended) the corsage trend with one of the best shades of the season. This suave and sophisticated corsage look is most suited to a formal occasion. Opt for a scent like Eternity by Calvin Klein for a classy finish.

We’re seeing the corsage trend behind the scenes, too:

Or make that “at the shows”. Bruna Marquezine caught on to the theme at the Prada 2023 show complete with an oversized fluffy corsage adorned on either sleeve. After all, you can never have too many flowers, right? We’d pair this look with a fragrance like Flower Of Immortality by Kilian

Devon Carlson arrived at the Yves Saint Laurent SS23 show arguably ahead of the trends. Devon showed us how to rock the corsage trend on a slightly more subtle basis. She finished off her delicate lace outfit with a biker chic leather jacket and a vibrant red corsage. The perfect fragrance for this look? The one and only Rock’n Rose by Valentino.

The humble corsage got plenty of attention at the Golden Globes this January, too.

Our favorite look came from the one and only Jenny Slate, who rocked the corsage as part of a gorgeous emerald green Rodarte dress.

And Jenny wasn’t the only one to pull out the corsage during the night. Iranian-American Actress Sepideh Moafi used the Golden Globes to pay a sartorial tribute to the lives lost and at risk of capital punishment amid the protests in Iran through her outfit.

Her beautiful black dress was designed by Iranian-American designer Amir Taghi and came complete with a huge red poppy on the hip, detailed with Persian calligraphy.

How to wear the corsage trend yourself:

Big fan of the florals but not sure how to wear them yourself? Start small with a corsage pinned to your favorite jacket or style it up with a center-of-attention corsage top.

Feeling a little more daring? Branch out with a centerpiece like Jenny Slate’s or Blumarine’s Resort Collection.
