As every bit as sexy as the original!
This is just maybe a note of two different from the original Black Opium, having the difference be the absinthe and a top fruity, brighter note, but it dries down to nearly identically the same scent. I have each scent on right now, testing on on each arm and wrist and I have a very difficult time choosing my favorite of the two. Intense has basically the same base notes, maybe a bit richer, but the absinthe and fruity top note definitely gives it the right to its own namesake. I guess I don't have a preference since they are so similar. The staying power is for sure intense, it's there in the morning after, which is a bonus. I say if you're a fan of Black Opium, definitely get a sample or at least make it to tester bottle a spritz yourself down with Black Opium Intense before you plunk down the $$$ on a bottle before your sure about how just a tiny little change of notes might affect your decision. For me, I love them both. These warm, sweet gourmand scents with heavy base notes were tailored made for the Taurus in me. I love the deeper, heavier scents...this is a top notch fragrance!
