Fujiyama Cologne

Fujiyama by Succes De Paris Cologne. Released in 1995 by the scent artists at Succes de Paris, Fujiyama is a light, refreshing fragrance for men. Minty & Fresh.... Like Mouthwash For Your Body?.. I Guess.

I typically don't prefer fragrances with mint in them and when I first tried this it was like spritzing mouthwash on my skin. However, after a few times of using it, I'm finding I actually don't mind it that much especially since the more noticeable minty top notes subside to allow the other fresh and aquatic notes to shine. This doesn't smell like the more common aquatic colognes on the market. The scent does go on light but has good longevity. It pretty much lasts a full shift at work although I usually put about 3 or 4 spritzes on before heading out. It's currently the warm and rainy season where I live so having a fresh scent to wear this time of year is ideal. Overall, for the price this scent is worth a try. **If you don't prefer it as a stand alone fragrance, try layering it. Interestingly enough, along with this item I had also purchased Ocean Pacific Cologne which I found to be too bitter and pungent by itself. I ended up laying that cologne with Fujiyama and found the two complement each other profoundly. The fresh, sweet and minty notes of the Fujiyama counteract the harsh pungent odor of the Ocean Pacific fragrance and make the overall aroma very much like being on a beach with salty driftwood and the ocean breeze. I find that I personally really love the combination of the two.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
