Known for his easy going light hearted approach to fashion and style, American designer Todd Oldham has become widely known through his various appearances on television shows promoting his fashion lines, interior designs and books. Originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, Oldham moved to Dallas after high school to further his design career and landed his first industry job in the alterations department at Polo Ralph Lauren. He launched his first line at age 28 in 1989 and went on to win the Council of Fashion Designer Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent in 1991. Oldham served as creative consultant to Escada in the late 1990s, designed a line of clothing for Target in 2002 and worked with Old Navy as a creative director. Other than fashion, Oldham has branched out to other areas of design. From 2003 to 2007 he designed furniture and home accessories for La-Z-Boy furnishing and in 1999 designed The Hotel of South Beach. Oldham has also produced a number of books for Ammo Books on various aspects of style.
