Samba Viva by Perfumers Workshop Perfume. Samba Viva is a women’s floral fruity fragrance from 2013.
Recommended for spring and summer day wear, the perfume leads off with head notes of apple blossom, bergamot, pear, orange, and fruits. In the middle are rose, jasmine, and pepper notes. Vanilla and cedar make up the base notes.
The yellow flacon has a red band around its neck and has a unique four-tiered structure. The Perfumers Workshop was founded in 1971 by Donald and Gun Bauchner, who
wanted to have a personalized perfume boutique. With concessions inside Bloomingdale’s stores, the company sold perfume oils at first before offering customized fragrances that allowed customers to decide which perfume notes, accords, bottles, and packaging they would like. In 1977, the brand launched a ready-made fragrance called Tea Rose to great success and followed it with the Samba collection. The brand is based in New York and its products are manufactured in the United States.
