Interesting that Al commented that this scent was compatible with nursing. It does have a distinct anise smell, which is reminiscent of either fennel or angelica. Fennel is supposedly a good tea for nursing mothers to drink. Anyway, I'm looking for something unusual to wear and I tried this perfume...

this is another great fragrance from Clinique, a lot "warmer" scent as compared to their original citrusy Happy scent. I can smell a lot of soy milk scent. The scent lasts all day. It is more suitable for colder months. I also really like the simple design of the bottle. It is also widely available at clinique counters an reasonably priced.

I, like others on this post, did not really love this scent the first time I smelled it. But then I found a sample of the body butter and it was wonderful. I purchased the butter and the holiday set and I wear it every day. I wish that it would last a little longer, I double up on the butter and perfume, but the scent fades. It is a warm and comfotable scent, but it is also very fresh. It seems like a good fall and winter scent, not to much but very comfortable. If you like to wear a nice scent but don't want to worry about what is appropriate for what time, this is it. It is a nice day to day scent. I hope Clinique keeps it around.

I bought Simply by Clinique for my wife for the second time because Simply by Clinique stands out for its enticing yet hard to place fragrance. It's slightly sweet, but not overbearing. While she has many other fragrances, I favor this one over the others. To my surprise when I went to buy it, and I went to the Clinique counter at the mall I discovered that it has been discontinued. Imagine my surprise and disappointment that Clinique would discontinue this unique fragrance. I decided to do an internet search and I am glad I came across Perfume.com.

Simply by Clinique is the best perfume I have ever used. I love the freshness of the smell which is just right and not overpowering. I have received many compliments from people about the fragrance as I walk by - how refreshing and clean smelling, not sickening sweet!

Clinique Simply is a very light, flowery scent, perfect for spring. This perfume isn?????t something I would wear at night because it would be out of place entirely. This fragrance is perfect for any morning outing, especially a sophisticated brunch. Being such a light scent, it needs to be reapplied fairly often if you are planning on wearing it for the entire day. Overly all this perfume reflects its name, it?????s simple and just as elegant as it suggests.

I really like this perfume. I have to admit the first time I smelled it I wasn't sure. It starts out with a licorice like smell, and if you don't like this it may be hard to get past it. Then it starts to soften within minutes to a warm, fresh scent. About an hour or so later I can smell the white flowers. Maybe this is why people say it doesn't last long on them because on me it dries down to a soft white floral. It is a very nice subtil scent, but you need to wear this for hours or even a few days before you form an opinion about. A reader suggested this to me because I really like Sensi White notes but it didn't last past 20 minutes on me. Glad I tried it. The dry down is farmiliar. Give it a try!!!

This is a slightly sweet comfort scent that really grows on you! At first, there's a watermelon note and perhaps a chai latte note, but on me, it mellows out to a slightly licoricey, milky, yummy scent that draws loads of compliments. Don't judge this on the first wiff please!

I wonder what is in this fragrance: to me it smells like hyacinth with a slight milky undercurrent. Really was not keen when I first tried it but have come back to it and it seems to be a grower. This is a scent I now wear all the time, and I just love it!

Not a complex smelling perfume. Includes watery & woodsey notes; of which I believe they are equal. This is a subtle smelling scent and would be nice for someone who likes softer, not so overpowering perfumes; however, I will probably not purchase it again.

Be careful with the amount that you use, as it's pretty potent. The good smell, however, lasts all day and most of the evening, so it's definately woth the money!

Like others said, it smells like chai-creamy, milky, and rich. I don't smell watermelon though(can't stand scents with any type of melon). It is a light scent, but lasts since it is pure parfum(not eau de toilette, cologne, or even an eau de parfum). Sweet! I didn't like this scent too much the first time I tried it, but I love it now.

Interesting that Al commented that this scent was compatible with nursing. It does have a distinct anise smell, which is reminiscent of either fennel or angelica. Fennel is supposedly a good tea for nursing mothers to drink. Anyway, I'm looking for something unusual to wear and I tried this perfume out tonight, and it definately fills the "unusual" bill. I don't get the "soy milk" reference from the description, I drink soy milk all the time and it doesn't really have much of a smell. But wear this perfume and you will smell a lot like the herbal tea sold in many health food restaurants in the 70's. But I attribute that to the mix of woodsy herbal scents, reminds me of ginseng tea. If that gives you a good vibe, then you'll like this. Allthough I kind of liked it, I'm looking for something that will get under a guy's skin. This one is for granola lovers only. :-)
