Nicolai Eau D'ete by Nicolai Perfume. Nicolai Eau D'ete is part of a trio of freshwater fragrances that were released back in 1997. "Eau d`Ete" means "summer water," and this perfume combines the citrusy and floral scents that are reminiscent of the warm months. After growing up alongside her relatives in the Guerlain family home, Patricia de Nicolaï studied chemistry at the perfuming school Isipca, where she learned about creating incredible fragrances. Following graduation, she worked for Quest International and helped to develop the brand's Trésor perfume. She then went on to start her own namesake fragrance company. That brand's first creation, Number One, won her the International Prize for Young Perfumers. She is now one of the most famous niche perfumers in the world.
