Love Madeleine!

I began wearing this in the 80's and had dozens of strangers ask the name. One time in the middle of hand surgery on me, the doctor said he had never smelled a scent he liked and asked his wife not to wear any perfume. BUT he loved the Madeleine scent that I was wearing and asked the name of my perfume because he was going to buy some for his wife - if she liked it too! (I just wanted him to concentrate on my surgery!😆)

I would if I could find it.

What's not great is that I can no longer find it. I spoke to Madeline in the late 90s and told her of my discover y of this wonderful scent. She was happy to tell me she was the designer of it. When I tried to order it from her shop later, the shop was no longer there and no longer was the fragrance. I have not found a scent that makes me happy since except the Tea Olive that grows by my steps.

I have worn this fragrance for 40 years

I cannot find anything comparable...sometimes people identify me by my Madeleine de Madeleine fragrance.

My favorite!

I first discovered this when I was 17 years old. Was unable to find it but kept looking for 43 years. Finally found it here and will continue to purchase as long as I can.
