Bal A Versailles Perfume

Like all reformulations it isn't the same, but the bone structure is still there. Not as strong, long lasting or as full and rich as it was but still a good quality perfume. It is still a love it/hate it fragrance, which it always was. Very much an Adult scent. No cotton candy/sugar/soap/vanilla or chocolate in this one! The bottle, label and coffret still add much to the experience. They are Classic.

I have worn Bal a Versailles since I was a freshman in college. Although the product is not the original, it is close enough to make me happy. I have over the years bought a few counterfeit bottles and I can always tell. Does disappoint me when I get the fake ... some of it smells like kerosene! However, my husband and children identify the fragrance as my essence (they have never smelled another fragrance on me). I am always grateful when I get the "right stuff"!

It was a total disappointment. Not the smell I remember or the staying power.

Use it daily and am always complimented on how good I smell

A scent that you don't need to spray on a lot of the scent is strong enough for one drop to keep you smelling Mmmmm!!!! Michael Jackson loved this scent as well as Tom Fords Black Orchid. So if you're a Michael Jackson fan, and you want to smell like MJ? Wear one of the scents I mentioned.

I've loved this perfume for 40 years. It's the only scent I wear and my grandchildren now recognize it as being "Nanny's smell!" It's a long lasting scent but not overpowering. If you put on a small dab you will have just the right amount of scent from the beginning of the day to the end. It does not fade quickly. It is worth the price. I was sad when it was no longer carried in the major department stores in my area but was very glad to find it online.

Great quality miniature perfume. Great as a gift or to keep.

E. Taylor gave me a bottle of this perfume in the late 70s -- we had mutual friends and that's how we met. Had always admired her & enjoyed her being an acquaintance but fell head over heels in love with Bal a Versailles. The compliments have always been endless and it baffles everyone as to what fragrance I'm wearing. Please, please, please never stop making this sensually intoxicating perfume!♥️

The only drawback is the price. I allow myself a treat with this product!

A light version, useful even to help lull me to sleep!! The bottle's cap is flimsy.

This is old style French perfume. Elizabeth Taylor wore this for Richard Burton. It smells very Old World, Regal, and French. Mysterious and seductive. Men love it.

I have used Bal a Versailles since I lived in Paris many years ago. It is expensive, but I treat myself sometimes.

I have been using this as a gift as well as purchasing it since I was 20years old. It has been my favorite perfume and nothing compares to it.It lasts all day Most people would ask what I was wearing.Everything about it for me has the right comestry.

This was bought for my 21 year old daughter. She loves it and wears it both day and night. It is not too heavy, and a little flowery. I have used it myself and it is very nice.

I have been using Enjoli cologne for many years and have difficulty finding it at times. I was very pleased to find it still available at Perfume.com. I am hopeful it will be available for a long time in the future as I enjoy the scent myself and get many compliments on it from others.

Several years ago a fellow co-worker was wearing the Escada by Escada for women and I was amazed at the fragrance. I had asked what it was and after a short conversation about the perfume I, not only interested about the history, searched the local high end stores to acquire it. I HAD NO LUCK. Escada Homme by Escada when i first smelled it from the bottle i thought it smelled awful (a cheap and strong chemical odor) then after a few minutes of having it on I really started liking it. The scent mellows out to a refined, rich, warm and cosy romantic or evening fragrance. great for cooler weather. It has a noticable hint of cognac mixed with a sweet yet spicy woody-oriental aroma. It is very masculine and worth trying if you can get past the first few minutes of its very potent smell.

My rating is Five for ENVY ME by Gucci. This is so nice. In my wife's collection this is the best. I always ask her to wear ENVY ME. My Wife tried ENVY ME on a tester card sample in Foley's when she went for shopping. She liked the smell. But she didn't buy. After that she kept the tester card in her hand bag. The card smelled for months... Yes, it is true. Fianally, I bought ENVY ME to my wife. It is wonderful. When it is worth, we dont think of money. Good for all the seasons. Thanks to GUCCI. Ur products are amazing.

This is one of my favorite perfumes. I fell in love with ENVY ME when I first smelt it in a magazine. It smells so pink, so sweet, so lady. You can wear it anywhere, whether to school, office, conference or a party. It suits any people from eighteen to forty years old. Also, I like this bottle design, neat and lovely.

A crisp smelling perfume that is very light and fresh. It is a very mild but sexy scent that lasts for a very long time. It is suitable for people of all ages, even a teenager or a senior can enjoy it both in the same way. This perfume lives up to it's maker, Gucci...who always makes good products. It's a little pricey but you can afford a smaller size rather than none, it's a winner!

One of the best values on the market. High quality and very well constructed, the cognac in the topnotes lingers and makes Escada by Escada luxurious and one that stands out in the crowd. Turns warm and powdery in the drydown, with just a bit of bite from the juniper. Definitely one that elicits its fair share of compliments.

Light, fresh, sweet and sexy, I love the bottle since Gucci is one of my favorite designer, having the logo all over it just floats my boat! This is definately a feminime scent, quite girly, yet sexy in its own way. I love wearing this and this is another perfume that gets me compliments (not as much as pink sugar). Notes includes: Fragrance Notes: Peony, Jasmine, Pink Pepper, Litchi, Pomegranate, Pineapple, Pink Musk, Seringa, White Tea, Sandalwood, Teakwood, Sensual Musk. I smell the peony, jasmine and citrus on me and it has very decent staying power. Give it a try, it's quite easy to wear!

Escada is a little too sweet and strong for me. However it has an pleasant scent. The trick is not to use too much, because as it fades and blends with your skin it begins to mellow. Good fragrance for the price.
