French designer Frederic Malle released the perfume in 2000 under his Editions de Parfums label. The nose behind the fragrance is French perfumer Michel Roudnitska, son of master perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. Michel has created perfumes and colognes for Anima Vinci, Ellie Perfume, Grandiflora and Parfumeurs de Monde.
