The opening is an herbal effusion of anisic artemisia, sweetly aromatic cardamom and rose-tinged pink pepper brightened by red berry nuances. Fir Balsam was first launched by French designer Franck Boclet in 2015. Other oriental fragrances by the label include Leather (2013), Patchouli (2013), Jasmin (2016), Tobacco (2014), Vanille (2015), Incense (2013), Amber (2014) and Lavender (2017). House scents were made in partnership with perfumers Fabienne Bourcier and Melanie Leroux. Boclet established his fashion brand in 2010 and began releasing his own line of fragrances in 2013.
