Bad Blind Buy Etro Sandal

I even over sprayed several times to test this one. Etro Sandal opens with cardamon and then the dry down is zero. I've never experienced anything like this before. This was not an inexpensive purchase either and I'm very disappointed in this cologne. I'm not sensing that there is any sandalwood in this scent at all. At the opening there is cardamon that gives barbershop vibes, then it dries down to zero. There is no silage, no projection. I'm planning to buy a good quality sandalwood essential oil, use a pretty bottle that I have on hand and combine this Etro Sandal to make my own scent. This was my bad as it was a blind buy. Even at purchase, I said to myself, yawn on the bottle quality and appearance but ok I'll try it so long as it is quality cardamon and coriander that turn into creamy sandalwood as promised. But that did not happen and I won't bother with any other Etro scent after this.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
