The creators combined several accords – incense, green, resinous and citrus – to produce a magical scent with both bold and delicate facets. Bergamot and lemon zest lure wearers in with their combination of sour, floral, spicy and acidic tones. Amber and patchouli give this scent body with their warm, smoky, earthy and woody aromas. Fresh herbs lend a wide range of vegetal, lemony, tangy and clove-like
Founded in 1993, Demeter Fragrance Library is the brainchild of experimental perfumer Christopher Brosius and marketing exec Christopher Gable. The company released its first three scents in 1996 – Tomato, Grass and Dirt. Offered in New York’s Henri Bendel stores, these three fragrances quickly became popular. The brand has produced nearly 400 scents including top favorites like Kitten Fur, Hawaiian Vanilla, Petrichor and Pixie Dust. Success in the States prompted the company to establish the European-based Library of Fragrance in 2015.
