Very feminine
Stay away if you're a man, this is not unisex but very old womanish. I'm glad I got a sample instead of a full bottle. I enjoy florals but this is just wrong, not for men not even old men and if you're a stylish older woman this probably wouldn't appeal to your taste.

A lovely rose flanker to Declaration
Declaration is a modern classic, but with its use of cardamom (and maybe caraway and/or cumin as well) comes a "b.o. accord" many may find objectionable. D'un soir jettisons the b.o. aspect and supplants it with a fresh, peppery, woody rose, making this the perfect fragrance for a special or more formal occasion. The masculine and woody elegance from the original Declaration is still here, with a splash of rose that, while always in the foreground, never grows tiresome or overbearing.

I enjoy wearing this & always draws compliments ...Even tho it's a men's cologne, I simply enjoy the scent!

Love it, even though I'm not a man...
Supposedly a masculine fragrance but I love it. One caution, I'm not fond of the opening notes when I first spray it on. At first breath, to me, it comes off strong, with a dominant damp earth/forest floor smell, that I am not overly fond of however, within a few minute, that fades into a gentle, not unpleasant, background note while the rose and wood notes blossom into a lovely scent with faint spicy overtones. I'm not fond of scents with aggressive rose notes but in this one, although you can definitely pick out the rose, it works as part of an overall accord. This scent is quite long lasting but not overpowering and, even hours later, I pick up a lovely close to the skin scent.
