Bvlgari Blv Absolute (bulgari)

A bit of an acquired taste, perhaps, but fabulous once you get your nose around this fabulous chypre. Peach is definitely in the mix, balancing the vetiver and sandalwood. As it dries down, it becomes mildly spicy (though I can't identify the notes) and decidedly mossy. Takes many hours to devel...

I'm told that Mitsouko is supposed to have a fruity top note, possibly peach, but I've never been able to detect it. Instead what I smell is heavy talc and incense that have marinated together on a window sill in hot, direct sunlight for about 168 years. Honestly, there's something about it that ...

I love this fragrance and I was hoping to purchase it, but you don't have it plus the fragrance being rated is not Bvlgari. It makes me wonder why should I trust a company that doesn't tell the truth

This is the only perfume I have used for30 years. I don't feel dressed until I spray on my Mitsouko. I would never use any other perfume. Only problem is that it is getting so difficult to find.

I have been using Mitsouko since 1983 when it was suggested to me by a salesperson in a mall in Honolulu. My family has always commented, " You always smell so good!"

This is a lovely delicate scent that has been my mother's special perfume for 60 years. I have given it to her for her birthday ever since I had the money to buy it. It's a real classic and worth every penny you pay for it. Everyone should have such a perfect gift for someone they love.

Interestingly enough, it was rumoured to be a favorite of Charlie Chaplin.

Bvlgari Blv Absolute (bulgari)

The classic fruity chypre, it sets the standard for all others. From its light peach topnotes to the mossy drydown, Mitsouko is unlike any other scent. Could be called "an acquired taste," but worth working for.

From the venerable House of Guerlain, and released in 1919, Mitsouko (Japanese for ?????mystery?????_) opens with a zing of peach, bergamot, and something that smells like leather. This abstract fragrance needs two to three hours to cook on your skin. Don?????t decide right away if you like this one; give it time to transform itself with your chemistry. It may take three or four tests for you to decide if it works for you. Mitsouko becomes a true skin scent as it develops on the skin. The woody and spicy chypre drydown is like being in a forest during Autumn---vetiver, oakmoss, cinnamon, amber. Very French, very voluptuous, yet earthy, and with an enticing sensual sillage; it?????s Woman. All Golden. One of the jewels of the House of Guerlain. The smell of Eve in the Garden.

I was truly happy to find Mitsouko. A childhood friend visited me in Chicago in May and mentioned her love for the cologne but was unable to find it. So, I decided to search the internet to see if I could fine Mitsouko. I'm so glad I did. I sent it to her for a Christmas present. She called me to tell me how elated she was and wondered if I could hear the scream she let out when she opened the box. (she lives in New Jersey) I live in Illinois. She asked me how I found it. I told her thanks to the world of computers and Perfume.com. Each time I talk to her she tells me how she can't thank me enough for the gift because she thout it had been discontinued since the stores don't carry it. I'm glad you company had it because it was such a surprise to her and a nice way to make someone as happy as she was. Thanks again for Perfume.com. Eunice Geron

It was my first experience with MITSOUKO, and I was surprised... I think MITSOUKO-for speshial women, who like bright, brave fragrances. As for me, I think it is so sweet.

I bought this perfume for the plain and simple fact that it was worn by famous erotic authoress Anais Nin. In her diary she mentions that Henry Miller's wife, June, requested a bottle of it after smelling it on her during the beginning of their romantic relationship. The smell definitely evokes a long ago era, a very sophisticated and exotic fragrance. I expect to wear it in the evening, a spray behind the knee and the back of the neck with a favorite piece of lingerie. I'm not sure if my beau will like it, but I definitely feel like a woman wearing it.

Instead what I smell is heavy talc and incense that have marinated together on a window sill in hot, direct sunlight for about 168 years. Honestly, there's something about it that reminds me of a European church or museum. Perhaps it's an old, musty wood accord. Because of this I have to give it points for nostalgia and mystery, but please keep it away from my skin.
