Ombre Orientale by Brosseau Perfume. Released in 2013, Ombre Orientale is a warm spicy oud fragrance for men and women. Thomas Fontaine is the nose behind the woody chypre perfume. Saffron starts the fragrance off on a sweet yet astringent note with apple, blackcurrant and bergamot. Jean Charles Brousseau took his eight-year-old French fashion house into the world of perfumery in 1978. Bergdorf Goodman in Nyc released the instant hit in 1981.
