Originally established in 1920 by Guido Galardi, the fragrance house Bois 1920 created perfumes from the lavender around Florence. The company lasted for only five years before it closed in 1925. Later on in 2005, Enzo Galardi, the original founder’s grandson, reopened the company and developed it into the brand it is today. The perfumer behind the fragrances the brand creates is Enzo Galardi, as he works to re-establish the brand and transform his grandfather’s formulas into fresh, new ideas.
