Ambre Pimente by Ajmal Perfume. An Oriental woody fragrance made for both women and men, Ambre Pimente offers an entire forest’s worth of scents to
inspire an audience. Released in 2012, the perfume’s based nearly entirely around woody and warm spicy accords. By opening with fruits and spices, the warm glow first intoxicates the nose and makes it intrigued for more. The middle notes of amber, cedar, and guaiac wood delicately unfurl themselves, arching towards sunlight like a young sapling. At
the end, the heavy scent of musk wraps up the scent with a profound sense of accomplishment. Its long-lasting longevity and enormous sillage ensure that you don’t need to reapply it and that everyone in your direct vicinity will get a delicious sniff.
Ajmal was founded in 1950 in Bombay, India. Its titular founder, Ajmal Ali, first sold various types of wood in India before he began to blend fragrances to make perfumes. He eventually moved to Dubai in 1976 in order to sell more directly to his clients in the Middle East, launching a perfume operation that still continues more than forty years later.
