Rarely can a perfume be so daringly flirtatious and yet as cool and tingling as Rive Gauche for women by Yves Saint Laurent. But cool and tingling does not mean it's citrusy in this case. Far from it! Amidst florals, it is a paradox as it doesn't smell flowery either. In fact this novel formula doesn't recall any existing smell in particular and we would be hard pressed to pigeonhole it, it's that independent! Rive Gauche (Left Bank of the Seine in Paris, of course) was named after Yves Saint Laurent's collection by the same name, envisioned as the perfectly sophisticated addition to a chic woman's arsenal. I've worn Rive Gauche by Yves Saint Laurent since I was 18. I'm now 50. It's a very sensual fragrance. It makes you feel sexy and very feminine. I always get asked what I'm wearing by both men and women. I was glad to find this site because for awhile I couldn't find it in my hometown Until they brought it back when the mens fragrance was introduced. But your prices are so much better.
