I started wearing Opium by Yves Saint Laurent over 30 years ago and it was actually prescribed by my doctor, lol. It was the only thing I could use in my bath and I was addicted to baths. I have been using it ever since. The smell just takes me away into another world where I feel pampered, more than anything I've ever used before. It is well worth the price and so am I.

I have been wearing Opium Perfume for Women by Yves Saint Laurent for at least30 years and I will wear it as long as it is here to wear. I am complimented quite often about smelling good even delicious. The only thing I am disappointed about is the discontinuance of the bath oil spray! So if there is any one out there that would like to get rid of any just let me know, other wise I am a happy camper die hard Opium user. Thank You YSL

I have been wearing Opium Perfume for Women by Yves Saint Laurent for 25 years and I won't wear any other fragrance. It is a very unique fragrance, not sweet, heavy and cloying like so many perfumes. Recently a group of us were discussing our favorite smells, everyone said things like apple pie, cinnamon rolls, Christmas trees, roses, lilacs, brownies, etc.,except my husband - he said "my wife". Hey, I don't care what it costs, it's worth it!

I also use the creams and powder. This is all I use. Thank you for making it so affordable, i don't feel guilty buying it.

I know you are supposed to change off your scents for the summer, winter, etc., but I wear Opium all the time. It works so well with my body chemistry. I hope it will be available for a long time.

I have loved Opium Perfume for Women by Yves Saint Laurent since I was 15!! I first tried it at a department store while shopping with friends. I thought it might be a little too 'mature' for me, but I couldn't resist the scent, so I bought it right then and there. Later that evening I went to the movies with my girlfriends where we heard the boys in the seats directly behind us whispering about a "really good cinnamony smell". I could hear them making sniffing sounds around the back of my head LOL. It's ten years later, I'm still wearing this perfume and getting compliments

I love the way it smells on her, and she loves too. she has tried other brands before, but she chose to settle on Opium once and for all. We think it smells very sexy, without that nauseating overwhelming smell that even expensinve perfumes have. We're definetly sold on Opium perfume.

I have worn Opium Perfume for Women by Yves Saint Laurent for over 20 years. Seldom even try any other. Recently, I was at a flea market and it was COLD as it could be for this time of year, and another lady came without her coat. I had an extra one in my van, so loaned it to her for some warmth, She didn't want to take it off because it smelled so good and she hoped it would rub off on her for the day. I had not worn the coat all winter, it was just one that my husband tossed in the van incase I needed to layer for warmth. The coat had been washed and was fresh, but my opium permiated as a permanent smell. I never pay attention, but everyone is always telling me how good I smell and asking what I wear, so, I share the name with them and know for a fact that they buy your cologne and use it. Being the mother of a college age daughter who was away at school, I had to give up this beautiful scent because my daughter fell in love with it. She said that every morning when she would spay the colonge she thought of me. My daughter passed away in September, 2001 so now I use it every day because it reminds me of her and I wear it close to my heart.

I got Opium Perfume for Women by Yves Saint Laurent for Christmas and tried it today. At first it smelled like ginger, but has now mellowed to the point I can’t tell what it smells like. All I know is that this is the best perfume I've ever had. It is a strong scent in that it isn't anything like the pop-star/movie-star/citrus/ocean-water perfumes. It could almost pass as a unisex scent. In fact, it reminds me of my boyfriend’s aftershave. That and how his aftershave lingers in my clothes (which for some reason makes me feel really good). That’s what this perfume is like. A very interesting layered scent; mellow; and quite delicious.
