Review of Baby Doll by Tara Daniels
This is my all-time favorite perfume. To me it smells like grapefruit/guava/spring/feminine. Every time I hug someone they hold me close and say "you always smell so good". My boyfriend loves the smell so much that he is always pulling me in close to smell me:) I've worn it for years, and it still smells so good when I put it on, it's a happy pick-me-up!

I bought this perfume for its name, as it BabyDoll was often directed to me as a term of endearment. I was suprised to smell a musky floral with bitter grapefruit. On my skin it is very strong, and takes a good half hour commute to feather away into a still heavy musk. Delightful, but maybe just not for me.

I so love this scent. You can smell the grapefruit and flowers and it is so unique. I get so many compliments on this. Everyone asks me what I'm wearing. There is nothing else like it. Try it! It will give you a lift. It is refreshing, not too sickening sweet and just plain fun. I LOVE it.

i am very particular with the scents i wear and when YSL BABY DOLL was launched and the store sent me a complimentary sample, i fell in love with it! since then, i've been on my 7th bottle. this is one of the 3 fragrances that i had been buying again and again. and the scent lasts for days. people always compliment me when i wear this. try and you won't be disappointed!

Baby doll smells so good and the grapefruit scent is just light enough where you can smell it, but not so overpowering. It last for quite a while as well! I always get asked what perfume I am wearing, and get lots of compliments and "You smell good!"

I first bought Baby Doll in Aruba as a remembrance of my trip there. It is the perfect fragrance for those who like fruit scents that last. It reminds me of the smell of fresh grapefruit with a spoonful of sugar on top. It is a nice fragrance for summer. It's not too light (those fragrances disappear on me) but the smell is luscious. I am not crazy over the style of the bottle - it's shaped like a top and won't sit straight on my bureau. But I can deal with that since every time I spray Baby Doll on myself it brings me straight back to Aruba - sun, aqua water, and fresh grapefruit.

Love the scent on me, it's subtle and sweet. I can't get enough of it. I've only just bought it though, so I don't really notice if it lasts long. I wear this when I feel innocent, because it smells just like that! It is citrusy-sweet, little bit floral and very girlish.

Coyish, girly fragrance that gave me a headache. Smelled really good initially but the more I sniffed, the more it started to remind me of public bathroom soap and not in a good way. I think it’s the combination of sweetness and floral that I don’t like. My sister adores this though.

I really can't make up my mind about this fragrance. At first, it has an almost astringent citrus quality, but, as it warms, the strong antique rose notes become predominant. It seems as if it would be a versatile, playful scent, but somehow the notes don't marry well and it reminds me of Yves St Laurent's more classic rose scent "Paris" but with an incongruous dash of grapefruit..as if someone mixed a bottle of Gap's less expensive "Pink" fragrance with a bottle of Paris..doesn't really do it for me

Baby Doll mixes mouthwatering grapefruit with the lightest spring floral accord. It's a very youthful fragrance, but not in the same vein as say Britney Spears' Curious or Aquolina Pink Sugar. It's a sophisticated youth, I love it.

Unfortunately, this is a really unexceptional fragrance. It has a really sharp blast of initial grapefruit with a sweet undertone. This lasts about an hour on me and then is gone. One positive is that the bottle is really unique and cute - it looks wonderful displayed on a dresser.

I loved this scent so much when I smelt it on a friend, she says it reminds her of those red "Fruitbox" fruit drinks you get... I bought an adorable Baby Doll gift set with the perfume and sparkling body lotion (gorgeous!) in a hot-pink box. Used it all up and loved every minute I wore it until two girls at work both got it also & now it just reminds me of work... very disappointed! I feel like my signature scent was stolen :( Amazing fragrance though, so sparkling feminine & sweet - tangy at the same time. I love it.

Upon first spray of Baby Doll I was overcome with grapefruit and a sharp metallic note I could not identify. I felt like this fragrance could be headache inducing. Luckily the pungent grapefruit note faded into the background and the sweeter notes of flowers came to the forefront. Much better now. love this fragrance. It reminds me of Gucci's Envy Me but sweeter. Notes are Grapefruit, Red fruits, Rose, Freesia, Lily of the valley, Heliotrope, Cedar, Sandal, Tonka, Vanilla. Baby Doll was very long lasting on me. This is a nice spring or summer fragrance. Very femine and fresh. The bottle is adorable too. It is like a combonation of a spinning top and a diamond. It sits tilted to one side and looks very cute. Definitely more of a young fragrance.

Sultry. I was expecting sweeter.. but it was a little more seductive then I anticipated. For being EDT, it last longs, and is strong, so you can use it sparingly.

I normally don't care for rose scents, and this smells primarily to me like a rose scent, but I like this one because the grapefruit and -- peach, is it? --add a sparkling, youthful fizz to this that I normall don't associate with rose-focused fragrances. This one is tenacious, though. Once you spray it on, you'll be smelling it for days and days.
