I would not by it again unfortunately…didn't smell like it
I was disappointed because neither one of them smelled like April violets…I ordered 2 boxes of them….i have been wearing it for years.each perfume smelled different,different boxes,one sealed with plastic one not,two different colors liquid as well.

Another favorite of mine from yardly. It's absolutely a gorgeous scent that draws a lot of compliments. It's light and refreshing and lasts all day. This can be worn anytime day or night. If you like beautiful floral scents then this is the one to get.

Sad about this product. I had high hopes that it would smell like violets, it doesn't. It came without a cap and the scent doesn't last not even 5 min. Disappointed!

I would buy this scent again. It is a must have scent.
I love using this scent after getting out to the shower or bath when my pores are open. It lasts all day. My husband has told me late in the evening after a full day of running around that I smell so good. I have to sniff my clothes to remind myself what I was wearing. Trust me this scent is one that I will keep in my collection. Hoping to get some more for Mothers' Day this year. I only have a fourth of my bottle left over now.

Got to get a bigger bottle
I got this as part of the perfume of the month club which I use to test new fragrances. I am a perfume junkie. So I seen this and had to try and I loved this fragrance. I wear perfume all the time, even to bed. It's not overpowering and you can add a spritz when you need too

I was searching for another fragrance when I found this one

So sweet!
I fell in love with this scent when I visited a tiny shop in the middle of Madrid, Spain. It sold everything imaginable in violet scent, flavor, and color. It was so memorable that my sister named her daughter Violet! This cologne evokes vivid memories of that wonderful visit.

What a rip off! 😡
This is a total rip off. I know what the REAL African Violet by Yardley smells like. This barely has any scent at all. I gave one star, because at least they DID mail some sort of product. (Although I really don't know why they bothered).

Yardley April Violets Body Fragrance
This was my first "signature scent" back in junior high--Yardley products were popular and well distributed in the US back in the late 60's. Some violet fragrances was very powdery and granny-ish--but this one had a fresh green quality I loved and was not too aggressive a scent for a 13-14 yr old! My only complaint about this body spray is that it's not lasting--I will probably buy the EDT next time!

Sorry, but the only thing I liked was the bottle and the packaging. The scent was not nice and I was ashamed to give it to anyone and didn't want the hassle of sending it back. I wound up tossing it out. Now, I love Yardley's other scents like Lily of the Valley (which is one of my favorites) and I wish I'd gotten it instead.

Please do not waste your money
As I child of the late 60s early 70s I love the natural floral scents of my youth. This smells like no violet ever. Not even a brief whiff of violet. This smells like dusty house/59 year old grandma handbag forgotten at the back of the closet.
