Review of Shalimar Light by Nancy G.

"This is a perfect summer fragrance: fresh, yet distinctive and classy."
- Review of Shalimar Light by Jo B.

"I have worn Shalimar since I was 15 yrs. old because my then boyfriend's mother wore it & he loved it. After 10 yrs. he became my husband & he had been giving me Shalimar all of those years so have never worn anything else. Now I am 75 yrs. old & known as the "Shalimar Lady" & would not be without it ever. Altho, I do not like the new bottle 'cause they just don't look like Shalimar!!! It will be the last thing sprayed on me when I die 'cause I want my husband to smell me coming!!! Thank you for allowing me to brag on your wonderful perfume!!" - Review of Shalimar Light by Judy S.

"This is absolutely the best I've ever used! I've worn Shalimar since I was in college(over 40 years ago) because a freind of my parents wore it and I loved the way she smelled. Then Shalimar Light came along and I tried it and now I can't go back to the heavier Shalimar. I get so many compliments because of it's light but wonderfully sweet smell. I was very disappointed when it disappeared last summer that I wrote to Guerlain and found out it's coming back next summer. I'm thrilled and will continue to use it for as long as it's available." - Review of Shalimar Light by Tasha T.

"I tried this several times before deciding I really do like it. It's a soft, fresh citrus-sweet-vanilla scent that is wonderful for summer. The initial spritz is very fresh, bright and clean - citrusy-lemony goodness. The dry down softens that a bit and a lovely sweet vanilla emerges, what I would categorize as a foody vanilla. This is a very subtle scent - it will not precede you into a room, or linger after you've left." - Review of Shalimar Light by Smells G.

"It may say light, but this is every inch a Guerlain. One does not expect a Guerlain, perhaps, to open with a giggle of light sparkling citrus, like a bright yellow slicker on a rainy day. But underneath the slicker the lady is dressed in an impeccable skirted wool suit, silk blouse, and her mother's pearls. This is Guerlain style with a wink and the perfect perfume for a young woman just getting into the classic perfum lines." - Review of Shalimar Light by Cheryl L.

"Shalimar Light is supposed to be a lighter version of Guerlain's Shalimar. I cannot wear regular Shalimar, but do enjoy Shalimar Light very much. The notes in Shalimar Light are high tech bergamot, jasmine petals and vanilla. This is a comfy scent on my skin, similar to Bath & Body Works Jasmine Vanilla in their Aromatherapy line. Shalimar Light lasts longer than the BBW Jasmine Vanilla and is a bit sweeter and more lemony to my nose, with a slightly powdery feel. I like both. This is a cute bottle, with a top that you twist open, spritz and twist close." - Review of Shalimar Light by Lisa D.

"Don't let the word 'light' in the name fool you, this is still Shalimar after all! The lightness seems to come in the top notes where lemon is the star. Slightly powdery, almost gourmand, and of course that famous spicy vanilla dry down that woman (and men) have been loving for years! The bottle is interesting due to the cap which twists open to spray rather that coming off."
