Review of Cabochard by Elie W.

"after many years of not using Cabochard I decided to try it once again...and I wasn't surprised that the fragrance is still the same, brought back many many memories...The fragrance is subtle but very sexy. Fragrance lasts throughout the day and I cannot tell you how many people stopped to compliment me on the fragrance. I also use Cabotine by Gres and that is fabulous as well. Enjoy! Elie"

"I have an ex mother in law who is one of the sweetest women I've ever know. One of the things I remember best about her was her hugs, and the way she always smelled so good. I once asked her why she stopped wearing her special scent and she replied that she could no longer find it. My Mother in Law turned 80 this year, and my gift to her was Caleche by Hermes. I found it on your site and she was thrilled. Thank you" - Review of Cabochard by Julie

"Many years ago, too many to count, I was kissed by a boy on the sidewalk outside of my house. He had really bad breath and was wearing English Leather. To this day, I can't even get near anyone wearing it. I'm sure it smells nice to other people, but it brings back bad memories" - Review of Cabochard by Caroline F.

"I have used cabochard on and off for years. I keep going back to it whenever I see it on the web. It is never overpowering, just a soft classic scent. I adore it." - Review of Cabochard by Linda N.

"I have been looking for a new fragrance for about a year. Most are "too something", either too heavy, too floral, too spicy, too light..... A sample of Donna Karan Cashmere Mist foil packet was included in one of the Women's Magazines I subscribe to. I removed it from the magazine and threw it in my makeup drawer. There it sat for about 3 months. Finally I opened it and was delighted with the fragrance. After wearing it for the day I ordered my first bottle. My husband loves it also!" - Review of Cabochard by Karen l. N.

"I started wearing KL when it was first introduced. I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE! I am distressed that it is no longer sold in stores. I am grateful for this site so I can buy it. Thank you and please keep it stocked. Any chance you would get the power in?" - Review of Cabochard by Stephen W.

"This has become my favorite scent in the world. I love when my girlfriend wears it! It has a deep, slightly smoky character, a sultry yet subtle scent." - Review of Cabochard by Bettie S.

"I laughed at the remarks made by Mary Soilex in her review of the Cabochard Body Lotion. I think the smell, etc., is really great! The body lotion is for evening wear not at the office. It only takes a little bit of lotion to do the job; she must really put a lot of it on. I wonder what her co-workers think. I love the Cabochard Body Lotion but am also trying to re-order Cabochard by Gres 3.4 oz Eau de Parfum Spray but can't seem to find it anywhere on the web. I love the smell of the EDP spray and my friends thinks it's great. I also like the Cabochard Toilet Water. " - Review of Cabochard by Elise B.

"I love this scent. So many of the new and more commercial scents are overwhelmingly flowery, citrusy and with too much vanilla. I find these scents distracting and not compatible with the natural musk of a person's skin. Cabochard is more naturally a scent which would blend with a human's oils and not cover up with flowers. I like it and will always find a scent like this more to my liking. Interestingly, the dry down has a scent of roses. When I emerge from bath, I put on the body lotion and then my robe. When I come home at night my robe smells like roses and not at all like the original scent left on my skin." - Review of Cabochard by Scent H.

"As a man reviewing Cabochard, I must say I really like it, although I'm not sure how well it works on a woman. From the same nose as the creator of Aramis, these actually smell similar, both mossy and leathery, though Aramis is considerably more potent (and longer lasting), and Cabochard is more floral. Something an adventurous woman might want to check out." - Review of Cabochard by N/a

"AGH! I can't believe this is a women's fragrance! I love Gres's Cabotine, but not Cabochard. It smells like genetic men's aftershave lotion! (not the kind that I want my boy friend to wear!) There is no feminity here. I've read that it is more of an unisex scent, but hmmm I'm not sure if I'd call it unisex. It is a cery masculine fragrance on my nose. I can imagine my father wearing it." - Review of Cabochard by Grace W.

"Powerful leather/tobacco/floral chypre, and not for the faint of heart. This could definitely be a unisex fragrance! I personally like it but would love to find the vintage Cabochard (I understand it has been re-formulated) or even the parfum version. At times, it seems nearly sour on my skin but at other times it is quite mellow and lovely, and the drydown is softer than you would imagine -- very floral and sweet and much like the drydown of Estee Lauder White Linen. This is definitely a scent that depends upon the wearer's chemistry! Regardless, it is a must-try! These classic scents possess a charmisma that most mass-marketed modern scents do not." - Review of Cabochard by Mary S.

"A SCENT I DO NOT APPRECIATE. IT IS VERY HARSH TO MY NOSE. IT SMELLS LIKE LEATHER. I ALSO SMELL TOBACCO IN IT. HOW THIS IS CALLED A LADY'S FRAGRANCE IS SOMETHING I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. IT IS HARDLY THE THING TO WEAR AROUND THE OFFICE, EITHER. PLEASE REBOTTLE AND CALL THIS AFTER SHAVE FOR MEN."
