""J'adore is my absolute favorite, I have worn J'adore since college. I was in a Hudson's department store and one of the perfume sales ladies was trying to get someone to buy J'adore. Normally, I avoid those salesladies like the plague, but what she sprayed near another shopper caught me in a spell. I purchased a 3.4 ml bottle that day and have worn it ever since. I have received so many: "You smell so good. What are you wearing?" from strangers because of it. "This is the ultimate in classic and alluring evening perfume. For those who don't like perfumes that carry a heavy "alcohol" sent - but still want a full-bodied scent that will last all night long, this is the one to go to. I smelled it on a friend one night at dinner - and ran out to buy it the next day because it was so mesmerizing. "I first smelled this fragrance in an insert in Cosmopolitan, and I was instantly hooked. I was only 15 at the time, and I couldn't afford it, but I always asked for samples at the mall and jealously hoarded them until I could buy my own bottle. Now, almost six years later, this is still my signature scent. Nothing else comes close to it. It's an elegant, sophisticated fragrance, but at the same time, it has a youthful appeal. "What can I say about this fragrance other than IT IS THE ABSOLUTE HOTNESS!!! I fell in love with fragrance about 2 or 3 yrs ago in a magazine ad and I been in love every since!!! I think any woman that wears this will just instantly feel glamorous--it least I know I do when I wear it; and that's not easy for me since I tend to like being a tomboy! LOL It is truly one of my fav fragrances of all-time and definitely worth the money! "J’adore by Dior is what a perfume is all about. the perfume is presented in a beautiful bottle. The perfume smells of white flowers. This scent is an absolute favorite of anyone who tries it. the name could not be picked out any better. The scent is definitely not too overwhelming nor is it too sweet. Take a whiff of this when you are feeling blue and the feeling you get when you smell it you will feel better it is like a stimulant, a spirit lifter. A spritz or two will go a long way. you will smell wonderful for the whole day. "This is sickenly sweet almost but on the drydown it is fabulous. J'adore is a very glam, retro fragrance, in my opinion. I like to wear it when I'm dressing up fancy for something or going somewhere where I need to look sophisticated and impress people. Dior makes awesome stuff, I don't think they will ever let me down, specially not in the scent department! "I finally tried this fragrance after much coaching from a friend and I am so glad that I did! I feel like it doesn't wear well to the end of the day, I always find myself wanting to apply another spray...but maybe that's just because I love the slightly heady scent! "This is one of the perfumes which I think is way too strong and alcohol smelling. I always receive testers at the mall for this and I don't know why it's so popular! "A little spritz will do you fine with this fragrance. If you apply properly it is amazing and has a wonderful flowery scent that just lingers with you throughout the whole day. "J'adore seems to me to be going for a romantic, floral scent. They missed the mark. At first sniff, it seems nice-almost refreshing. However, ten minutes into your J'adore experience, I promise you, you will have a headache. The smell that takes over once it dries smells rancid to me. It smells a little like a subway station late at night. The smell almost makes me sick. It can almost be mistaken for a medicinal cream scent. You will smell like a medicine cabinet. "J'adore is too heavy on the woody and floral end for my tastes. I prefer a sweeter fruitier scent and this, quite simply is not it. I have given it a few chances but still have not become more attracted to it. "This perfume is the epitome of spring to me, light florals, a tad sweet. I found this fragrance quite by accident and am glad I did. I was wandering around a big department store waiting for a friend to meet me for lunch. I started smelling some of the perfumes I had never tried and I was just about to walk away when a woman walking by said, "you really should try J'adore...I love it." I didn't have time that day, but her comment stayed with me a long time. More than a year later, I am looking for a new perfume and think to myself, why not? "This fragrance is much more appealing when applied EXTREMELY sparingly and allowed to mellow for an hour or so, it is that intense. It is not typical, traditional Dior, but more edgy oriental, vanilla and woody scents highlighted with sharper florals...not really my style, but adored by the younger women in my family.
