Gres Perfume for Women
The little girl known as Alix Barton— born Germaine Emilie Krebs—with dreams of being a sculptor or ballerina, entered the world of fashion as a hat-maker and then set her sights on couture. Madame Grès, as she was fondly known and admired, designed women’s clothes like art, sculpting fabric on the model’s body—her childhood dream unfolding—and dancing among the silks and chiffons of her evening dresses. In 1942, she adopted the name GRÈS, an anagram of her Russian husband’s name, Serge. Vogue's 1988 History of 20th Century Fashion named her "the greatest living couturier." Her first and famed perfume, Cabochard, launched in 1959. Others followed, like Cabaret, Cabotine, Caline, Folie Douce and Pastel.

Cabotine Perfume for Women by Gres is the cleanest, nicest perfume ever.. I love it!!! The fresh scent is not overpowering and it doesnt make you smell cheap. Such a classy fresh perfume! I've been using it since 1994 when our foreign exchange student from France brought a bottle over as a gift.. :) Thank you Lolo!

when i first smelled this, i hated it! It was very different from all my other fragrances. Its very spicy/woody/hard... To me, its unique and I love it! I wear it for my romantic outings.

A great perfume to wear when your active either working in the day time or night dancing. This is very different it has a peppery hint to it its not sweet or flowery so it will stand out against all the other perfumes, Cabaret Perfume is really one of a kind. The only thing it doesn't last as long as I would have liked. The bottle is very pretty!
