Geoffrey Beene Perfume for Women
True to his fundamentals, fashion designer Geoffrey Beene—Louisiana-born Samuel Albert Bozeman Jr.—retains his artistic vision. He was honored with a plaque on New York’s 7th Avenue Fashion Walk of Fame in 2000. A pre-med student turned by the lure of design, Beene moved to New York in 1947 to study at the Traphagen School of Fashion. A year later, he left for Paris and eventually worked for famed designer Edward Molyneux. Back in New York, he introduced his wildly-popular, sporty “Beene bag” collection in 1971. Beene’s first men’s fragrance, Grey Flannel, launched in 1979 followed by Bowling Green, Geoffrey Beene, and others.

When I smelt Grey Flannel Cologne for Men by Geoffrey Beene straight fom the bottle I wasn't sure if I liked the smell, it smelt "offensive" at first. But when I wore it, it felt different. More fresh, a sharp, green, woody, kind of fresh with a bit of flowery sweetness. After the opening the sharp green fades into a woodsy herbal violet smell. Smells great from start to finish. If this was the only fragrance I owned I'd be happy wearing Grey Flannel almost every day. I was expecting a barely wearable harsh old mans fragrance, but it's not. It's a great everyday manly scent (not overly manly) and most of all it's strong, long lasting and interesting. Eau Sauvage was my only recent staple fragrance so far, but now Grey Flannel joins it. I love it

I really like Grey Flannel Cologne for Men by Geoffrey Beene, its very nice. But, I'm 20 and I just can't pull it off. It's too confident for me I suppose. Very nice & classy smell. I'm giving it away for an early father's day gift, I'll miss it!
