Tommy Bahama would not have been purchased by me, or even tried. "Tommy BAHHHAMMA!" However, received as a gift, I felt obligated to wear it once. Guess what? One of my favorites- both sophisticated and elegant. The fragrance is no lightweight. It opens a little too warm, but settles down into a tobacco/leather/incense "soul," that lasts. I have received many compliments in a short period of time. It is not a replacement for my Knize, Eau Savage, or the several Creed's, but I really like this fragrance and it will regularly rotate.

I am a man who loves to smell good and take great pride and enjoyment in finding the rare great fragrances out there. A lot of them are bad, a lot of them are good, some are very good, and few are great classics that will never go away. This cologne falls into a classic category. I have a hard time finding a fragrance as great as Tommy Bahama.

It's rather funny, I'm an avid Tommy cologne fan and with each and every product they make...whatever name they slap on after the word Tommy is rather an adequate depiction of how the cologne smells or feels like. As for Tommy Bahama, I do feel as though the smell reminds me of something tropic or to push my imagination even further, on a hammock outside watching a sunset. Tommy colognes are great, don't ever second guess them! You'd regret it.
