I loved it so much that I've been wearing it sparingly for fear that I will run out before I can actually afford to replace it. Great job Thierry Mugler. Definitely a winner in my books!!!

I LOVE Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler. It is a strong scent but not over-powering. Maybe I should say it is extremely lingering and memorable. It is heady in a powdery maybe spicey way. I can try to make this analogy: Georgio Perfume is very strong and (to me) sickening! Angel is strong and (to me) yummy! I get SO many compliments! I love the scent. It makes me smile and comfortable in my skin to smell it around me. It doesn't get lost. You can smell it on yourself. You DO NOT need much. I recognise it on others right away and compliment them for their good taste. I say allow this guilty pleasure in your life. You deserve it!

This is one of the most beautiful, intoxicating and seductive fragrances ever. I always receive compliments when wearing, my husband absolutely loves it! I use the body products with the fragrance for layering and they scent as well as moisturize and soften my skin. This is truly a signature scent.

Angel Perfume by Thierry Mugler is my favorite perfumes of all time. It is so differant that other perfume. I first became interested when I smelled it on another person. The delightful smell intrigued me so much that I just had to ask what it was. I have since bought some and wear it as a way to pick up spirits up. It is wonderful not flowery or too sweet, but rather spicy and oriental. I love it!

My girlfriend has been wearing Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler for a decade. When I first met her I was just knocked out by the scent. She smelled delicious. It wasn't overpowering as some people have noted. It's just unfamiliar. People get confused because it is not like other scents that overdose on floral "notes". This is a sensual, earthy fragrance and not everyone can wear it or appreciate it. I agree a little goes a long way, but man it's worth the trip. We have been together for six years and I love inhaling her Angel scent. It's heavenly. My friends ask what she wears but I always tell them Prada so their wives and girlfriends won't steal her scent.

The compliments I receive when wearing Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler are mostly from Men........What are you wearing, you have a very pleasant fragrance.....I want to purchase it for my wife/girlfriend.....but women ask to.........just pleasant, not overpowering, but attractive.... I've always been attracted to perfumes that make me feel sensual yet comforted at the same time. I'm not sure this can be understood by everyone, but I'll try an analogy. Spraying on Angel to me is like slipping into that gorgeous sophisticated nightie that always makes you feel like one of those glamour goddesses from the early days on the silver screen. Never inappropriate. Definitely a head turner. Sexy, but not "overtly", Comfortable, but not in a "flannel" way. All the notes brought together for this perfume work ( and play ) beautifully with one another. This is definitely a love it; or you hate it. While everyone's body chemistry is different; I often note the hate it camp are those whom claim it is overpowering - and all I can say is a little goes a LONG way. I get turned off when I can smell it in high doses on women. Like makeup, I always feel someone should not realize you ARE wearing it - the right amount is where they believe that really is you "au naturel"! I love the deceiving appearance of the bottle & packaging. It seems like it would be a light, crisp scent by it.....and normally I love clean, crisp fragrances, I needed something "more" for our long winter months; and I am not a heavy-florals kind of woman and detest smelling "perfumey" so I wanted something "different" yet that was sexy, yet had class. I found it here in Angel. I hated the smell of it in the store; it came off as strong, and almost mouldy. But in the context of being in a fragrance aisle with my nose assaulted by all types of flavours and scents....I knew it was not getting a fair shake. In uncharacteristic fashion - I believed I needed to take it home. I am glad I did! One dab on neck and on wrists, and at first I was struck by it's strength...but then it settled nicely and quickly....into something sensual and alluring. I cannot stop smelling my wrist when it is on as it almost seems different everytime! At the drydown, I get a warm melted chocolate smell - with hints of honey, caramel and vanilla - but with a kick from the patchouli that prevents it from being sickly sweet. Normally the patchouli would not suit me (I like it, but it is not "me" as it is too strong) but this is different...mellow and settled. I find this unique.....sure there are many, many foodie scents out there since Angel came out, but they all seem to make me feel like a 10 year old girl with her hand in the candy jar. This is different....sensual, womanly and "rich" in it's depth and layers. My advice is to definitely dab some on (lightly!) in the store and then walk around with it for the day.....a sniff at the store does not do justice on it's complexity or its layers...

Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler is voluptuous and deliciously scented! Like so many who indulge themselves in Angel each day it is so pleasing by those whom are around you. At least 3 times per day someone will ask,"What are you wearing?" I find when sprayed for the first time many say it is sooooooo strong--WELL-- don't spray as much and wait at last 10 minutes. This fragrance is so fine that the oils must settle on one's skin to get the most out of this uniques and beautiful fragrance!! ONly buy the refillable spray, a bit more a first, but less cost when you bring your star into one of the dept stores to get refilled for at least $24.00 less than your initial purchase.

This is a delightful body cream and pairs wonderfully with the Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler. When I first experienced this scent on a friend, I had to have it. It was a pleasure to find it at Perfume.com at such a reasonable price. I thought I would have to wait till I had enough money to purchase it from a department store but I ordered it immediately from Perfume.com when I saw the combined price of both cream and perfume. I received it very quickly also and it all came in the original packaging. The scent is alluring and not overwhelming.

Angel is my favorite fragrance for several reasons. The fragrance is absolutely exotic smelling. I always gets compliments when I wear it, men really love it. It's not too sweet smelling and it's not heavy, it just floats right in between the two. I purchased this fragrance after it was recommended to me by a friend. She told me that men would literally stop her and ask what she was wearing. It smells great, but it gets mixed reactions from people. One person told me it smelled like bug spray but others love it. When I wear it I frequently have people tell me how great I smell and ask for the perfume name. Buying the 1.7oz refillable star and then buying the refills saves a bundle of money. This is my favorite perfume of all time.

It is very interesting to read all the reviews for ANGEL by Thiery Mugler, in that they are so contradictory! I do not find this scent to be 'light' at all, which it was described as by some reviewers, for me this is a very strong and heady scent, but I like to make a bold statement, and this definitely does that for moi!! My personal experience finds notes of a sweet heavy almost chocolate, yet musky lasting scent. I do agree that one needs only very little and too much can envelope and possibly cause a headache!!! I like that, especially since there are so many perfumes I have tried that just do not seem to last, seem to fade away...and at least with ANGEL, the price is offset by the fact that this will go along way...so easy on the sprayer, girls, and enjo the sensuous, sexy you!!!!! -Marianna

Hi I've been using ANGEL for about 4 years now and have to give the highest ratings to Thierry. It's not only a sweet smell but to me also refreshing. There's nothing better in the morning after my bath than spaying on my angel before leaving home for work. The smell last the whole day and I have to admit that a great fragrance gives you some kind of a boost. If you smell good you feel good. Thank you for a wonderful, amazing frangrance. Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler is the best smell I have encountered. I wear this myself. I dont overapply since its a strong perfume that might be too intense if you apply too much. A little of it makes my day, everyday...i happen to go through a whole lot of posts on angel yesterday as frankly the sheer number of people who have sent in their reviews never fail to amaze me... !! its always fun to read when people are commenting on something as personal as perfume coz what turns u on is a revelation to what kind of personalities exist.

Hence, the Angel name - I get so many compliments when I wear this from both women and men and all I have to say is that this perfume is euphoric (for me and for others). I first tried Angel almost a year ago, after having smelled it on someone else. Previously, I had considered buying it (first at Harrods in London, six years ago.) But I had so many other perfumes that I never got around to it. I'm glad I did; it's an unusual scent (though it has grown very popular in the years since its release.) It's a rich, heavy, complex scent, and I get many compliments when I wear it. Sometimes, though, I do get the dreaded patchouli frangrance (which I really do not like.) So it's not an everyday scent for me...mostly a going-out-at-night scent for cooler weather. In my opinion, it's far too heavy for warm weather. It's a good one to have around, though - a nice staple to fall back on.

Not an easy perfume to get your hands on. Not many stores sell it. I had a friend that smelled so wonderful one day when we were out shopping and I asked her what she had on and she said Angel. I loved it on her. We actually came across it in a store (I was looking all over for a tester to try it) and I put it on and waited a few minutes and it was terrible. Much too sweet. So I caution everyone to make sure they try this on themselves before buying because it definately works with your body chemistry.

Angel is truely a classy perfume. I remember in grad school, my classmate told me she likes this, I sniffed this and thought" you have got to be kidding me". It smells alot better now to my nose, but I still don't love it. It is unique, a little bit overwhelming, and strong for my taste. It is rich, and complex, none of those Tommy Girl generic stuff, yet I can see this being a love or hate relationship. My suggestion is not to spray too much on because it can be a bit too much. Packaging is absolutely adorable, who does not want those stars in your collection box!

I have heard it can be quite hit or miss in how it mixes with individual body chemistries and it would be best to try the scent out at a retail store prior to purchasing to make sure it suits you. This is by far my favorite perfume. I've been wearing it since it first came out, and I still love it every time I spray it on. Super long lasting, I can spray it at 4 in the morning and at 9 at night, it’s still holding its own. This isn’t a perfume for everyone, in my experience it’s a love/hate relationship. If you like light, fresh perfumes then this isn’t the one for you. It’s much heavier and has a somewhat “sharp” smell, if that makes any sense.

A bit strong but a very sensual and full spirited scent. I cant decide what it is - some sense of deep floral and citrus. I would say it is very warm - great for special dinners or evening wear. Angel by Thierry Mugler is definitely a love it or hate it fragrance... so polarizing. After a somewhat rocky start with it, I now love it. The first bottle I ever bought was on an auction site, for cheap. I sprayed it on my wrist, and nearly choked. That was the most VILE juice I'd ever smelled. Cloying, nasty, BO smell. I couldn't imagine why *anyone* would want to smell like that. I later got a sample from an actual perfume site, and because it was months since the first Angel incident, and because I was feeling particularly brave, I decided to try it again. Hmmm... what is that delicious, *sexy*, gorgeous smell?? OH, it's me! I compared it to the first bottle I had, and the color of the perfume was remarkably different. One was light blue, the other was a greenish-brown. It had gone bad. Fresh Angel is glorious. (At least on me) However, I still only buy the .80oz stars, because in the 3 years now that I've been wearing it, I've found that it is one of those that really shouldn't be used more than about a year or year and a half, because the older it is, the stronger it gets, and eventually the strong notes start killing the lovely softness to it that's in the drydown. It's the most sexy fragrance I've ever worn, gets me *tons* of compliments, and since it isn't worn by hardly anyone around here, ex-boyfriends have often associated it with me and me alone and I like the idea of them catching a whiff of it and remembering me fondly. Just know that one squirt will do ya. No spritzing on wrists, neck, cleavage, and in hair!!!

Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler and I have had such a rocky relationship. At first sniff I loathed it. I thought it smelled of face powder and B.O. I kept trying it though, and eventually found the chocolate and caramel hiding underneath. It was the caramel that won my heart, but sadly I only catch it when the wind blows just so. Still, after some time together I learned to appreciate Angel. I think it smells wonderful on other people, but it just doesn't work well enough with my chemistry. The bottle, on the other hand, would be gorgeous anywhere, anytime.

I took this review from a 5 to a 4 for 2 reasons, the price is a little out there, but thats because the bottle is made of crystal and is refillable. Another thing is the first spray is way overpowering. The dry down is very nice though. It's an elegant, classy scent, that will always be unique, perfect for nighttime wear. Besides the beautiful, eye-catching bottle, this perfume has a soft, sweet fragrance that is very feminine. There are 2 reactions I get EVERY time I wear this: (1) "What are you wearing?" (men) and (2) "Are you wearing 'Angel'? (women) The fragrance is light, but noticeable and doesn't wear off quickly. I use a light spray in the day and apply a slightly heavier amount for going out on the town. Theirry Mugler Angel smells like bug spray and the scent(odor) lingers. I had to find out what this nauseating scent was so I could avoid it all costs,a woman at work wears it and we all feel as if someone sprayed insecticide in the salon. It could be that it just doesn't work with her body chemistry but I can always tell when she has been in a room, it just reeks. I would not recommend that anyone subject others to this scent. I pray that Angels don't really smell like this.

I got this for my girlfriend last winter as a birthday gift, and she loves it. She hasn't tried any other perfume since! She hasn't even gone back to the perfume she used before I got Angel for her. It smells great and I think you'll like it as well. It is a little strong, in the summer though, I think the heat does that to it. If you have a problem with that, this may not be the perfume for you.

I have been in love with Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler for years. It is definitely more of a Spring/Summer scent so I look forward to those seasons every year. It is floral but not overbearing, yet it stays on for a really long time! There is a slight musk to it but it's a good one, not overpowering. A very pretty, light, crisp, citrusy fresh scent. Light Blue reminds me of a fresh Spring rain with a hint of iced lemonade and the faint smell of denim. It's perfect for Spring and Summer, and a great scent for daily wear. It's one of those scent that makes feel happy and refreshed every time I wear it, and when it comes to "Clean" scents, this is by far my favorite!

The scent is a strong, crisp, lavender-like scent that is quite pleasing. But as I mentioned, it is strong. Meaning, do not put too much on. This perfume will stay with you throughout the remainder of the day, so, *do not* overly spray yourself as this stuff is quite strong. It's great for formal and romantic occasions, although it might be a little too 'professional' for a more every-day wear. Still, it's quite good and definatly worth checking out!

I was lucky enough to receive a gift box set of Angel over several years ago for Christmas. I have nasal allergies and am very skeptical to purchase perfume without sampling it first, but given as a gift, I welcomed the challenge. I have never been so happy with a scent of a perfume more than Angel ! I love the scent of Sandalwood, vanilla, and patchouli with all the lower scents of melons, peaches, citrus and plums. Angel is definately a 'daytime' perfume! I am also very comfortable in admiting that while wearing Angel, I have gotten amazing compliments (who can turn their nose at that?). Although I love to wear various perfumes (several of my favorites are rotated), Angel is my absolute favorite.

It has a nice warm feel to it, so i find it perfect for those cold days when you want to feel snuggly and delicious. I really enjoy Thierry Mugler's perfume. It has such a refreshing scent that last and stays on you. Thierry Mugler is a rare designer that makes perfume that seem strong by itself, and once on you light and frangrancy. The lovely design of the bottle is fun and attractive and is a lovely collectable bottle. Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler is somewhat musky, but very soft and sweet. I think that the perfume is made for a little older generation and not for someone who is sporty or in their teens. This is a somewhat older, maturer perfume, that shows you are growing up, it is a great transitional perfume from teens to adulthood! I wear it on special occassion when I'm mixing it with other perfume, but it is a great all day perfume if you mist it all around you as oppose to dabbing it on yourself. I get a lot of complimants on this, because it is so different from my usual fruity flare, that it's usually more noticeable. The scent is different on each person, and depending on your own body's ph balance, the scent can go floral to powdery and the same can be said about scent levels, how long it stays really depends on the person. I put on two sprays and it last most of the day, with light traces by the end of the day, whereas my sister, one spray and it's still strong by nightfall. I highly recommend it for those special occassion type of perfume, it stands out on its own and with a name like Thierry Mugler, this perfume will gets you lots of complaimants and attention.

I want to review this Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler.It is a different kind of smell.Plus the just right size which is EDP spray that comes in a size 1.7 oz and for women only.To me it has a woodsy scent an aroma that takes your breath away with its charming woodsey little charm scent.Plus the bottle that it comes in when you buy it is sweet and just big enough to stick in my purse and carry it with me everywhere I go.When Iam with my girlfriends I can give them a big whip of smell and see if they like it or if they might want to try before they buy.But of course this Angel is so great real quick soothing long lasting scent that muffles all other smells that you may come in contact to.It will take your breath away with its fresh all day scent that may cost a bit more but worth it.

Wow, this smells delicious! The perfect, delicate blend of chocolate and caramel but the great thing about this fragrance is its not overpowering at all. This fragrance is classy and cool and i absolutly love the bottle! It has a very cool yet smooth feel to it and can be worn anytime day or night. I have several colleagues who always smell so wonderful, so I finally asked what each of them wore for perfume or cologne. Each one of them had been wearing Angel by Thierry Mugler. The next time I was at a department store, I rushed right over to the counter to test this great-smelling perfume. To my surprise, it was horrid! The perfume was so incredibly strong and overpowering that it made my eyes water. I couldn’t wait to get home and wash it off. I was afraid that other shoppers in the mall would be offended by the strong odor emanating from me. Luckily, no one said anything to me and I went on my merry way. As I shopped for another hour or so, the scent started to dissipate more and more. By the time I got to the car, the scent was somewhat enjoyable. By the time I got home, the scent had faded to what I recognized as the scent I had enjoyed so many times before as my coworkers walked past me. I decided to give the perfume one more try, hoping that I was just overly sensitive that day. Unfortunately, the same thing happened. This perfume was just way too strong for me. I’ve been hoping that a more “watered down” version would come out, but alas, that will probably never happen. I'll have to enjoy it second-hand.

I love this scent on a lot of people, but I think you have to have a certain body chemistry to make the sweet chocolate and carmel notes come out. A co-worker loves this scent and on her it smells completely different than it does on me. This smells very floral on me and I wish it had more of the sweet notes when I wear it. Not too many stores in my area carry the fragrance, and I just happened to see it in a store today and got a whiff. It is way too strong for my tastes. Mmmm. Imagine chocolate, caramel, honey, vanilla, sandalwood and patchouli all mingled into the most heavenly scent you can dream up, and you have Thierry Mugler's Angel, which was created in 1992. I first smelled Angel on the wrist of a friend. It was sweet and woody. I was in love and knew that I had to have that fragrance. I bought the refillable blue star in 1997 at Saks Fifth Avenue. The bottle is beautiful. An asymmetrical five pointed star that must lay flat. The glass is tinged a soft, celestial blue. The concept of a refillable bottle is excellent. You pay less than the original cost to fill it up. If you're not accustomed to purchasing expensive fragrances, Angel is really a bargain because it is such a highly potent scent. Just a little will do ya. It is so easy to over-do it. One spray is all you need and the fragrance lasts all day. With this in mind, one bottle can last you several months. The compliments. That is one of my favorite things about this fragrance. Men and women will compliment the way that you smell. A gorgeous man once hugged me, got a good whiff of Angel and whispered into my ear, "You smell delicious." Although I adore Angel, it's a "heavy" scent best suited for cooler days. After moving to Los Angeles, I have not been able to wear Angel. The days seem too warm to wear a scent this heady. It's like wearing thick opaque red lipstick on a sweltering day. I also heard that because Angel does not contain any floral notes, it is highly suitable for women who tend to be allergic to fragrances.

Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler is the most delicious-smelling perfume on the market! I love it. (Angel Innocent smells nearly the same and I love it just about as much.) There isn't another scent out there, other than Angel Innocent, which smells anything like this perfume. Oddly enough, to me it smells a bit like sweet, pink grapefruit, yet there is no grapefruit in it. If you like exotic, unusual, non-floral scents as I do, you'll probably love Angel. I agree, though, with another reviewer who said she would like a more travel-friendly bottle of perfume. There is no way to take the "star" with you without risking its accidentally spraying, because there is no cover over the sprayer button. This is the main reason I ordered the tester box of Angel Innocent a few years ago...it can be covered and used for travel. Other than that, Angel is just perfect. Sue McCrimmon

I was first introduced to Angel Perfume for Women by Thierry Mugler when my step daughter came for a visit from Ft. Myers, Florida. She smelled so good that I had to ask what kind of perfume she had on. Even her dad complimented on it which took me by surprise! Any perfume I wear seems to kick in a headache for him, but not this. So, when she returned home, she mailed me a bottle. Well, I used it up quickly and went on line to order for myself. I love the gift set. I actually keep the small bottle in my purse for a touchup when I'm out shopping all day! And you wouldn't believe the people---both women and men---that stop me to ask what kind of perfume I have on! They all use the word "fresh smelling". I'm sure you have had orders from my word of mouth telling them to go on line. That's exactly what I'm going to do to order the gift pack as a gift for my sister who lives in Phoenix! And I'm certain from there you will get more orders from my relatives who also live out that way. Kudos to the originator of Angel !!
