This fragrance is so soft and fresh. I really love the feminine rose notes in it, as well as the refreshing mandarin that is subtle and sweet. This is one of my favorites and the bottle is gorgeous as well. A small amount sure lasts a long time which is a quality I always look for in a perfume. A++

I love the smell of roses, but it's hard to find a rose fragrance that seems modern, sophisticated, and fresh. This one was just what I'd been looking for. It lasts all day on me, and the drydown is really pretty. I think there's a bit of a fruity smell mixed in. I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

I was never a big fan of floral scents, but I absolutely love this fragrance. It isn’t overpowering like most floral scents. It is light but ultra feminine It is a great day fragrance but it also has a seductive quality that makes it great for evening wear, too. This is definitely for the sophisticated and modern woman.

This is my favorite spring fragrance--well, Stella and Stella Rose Absolute. They are both very mature, and very seductive (rose and dark amber mingle for a wonderfully captivating scent), and it really depends on how you wear it to avoid some of the complaints other reviewers have posted. I am partial to the roll-on gift set, and I carry a roll-on in my purse wherever I go to freshen up--I think this is actually a great freshening scent, which is why I think the roll-ons are of better use than the sprays.

I hope that when Ms. McCartney was creating this debacle of a fragrance she was aiming for flowery garbage, because that is exactly what this smells like. The perfume itself seems to have a snottiness to it. Much like Stella's horrifying clothing line, this is a tacky, cheap smelling scent that is overpriced. Don't get me wrong, I am willing to pay for a quality scent that smells good-not even great. I dont know why anybody on this planet would want to smell like this and pay for it. Ms. McCartney seems to be on a mission to not only make her consumers look like Euro-trash, but to reek of it also! Everything her father touches may turn to gold, but everything she touches smells of something far less lovely.

Stella by Stella McCartney is a delicate true rose scent that is feminine and modern. No old lady scents here! It’s sultry and fresh, clean not musty. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous – as great as the fragrance. Purple multi-faceted with a nice cap engraved with STELLA. Stella is sultry enough to use for the evening and soft enough to use during the day.

It's a nice fragrance, no doubt, but it doesn't feel quite right on me. Sometimes it feels too "mature" on me, or even worse, rather sour. I like the amber drydown, but don't find it worth withstanding the rose topenotes. It's a great scent for rose lovers, but may be a bit much for others.

A marvelous, gossamer fragrance that reminds me of Sterling Silver hybrid tea roses. This just smells purple to me. It's a fresh, dewy rose scent that might especially appeal to those who find many rose notes too heavy or musty. The light amber base is not at all obtrusive. Stella is a lovely, clear, modern rose fragrance. The one drawback to this scent is it’s often too light for many wearers, fading away too quickly.
