The notes of Stella McCartney's Rose Absolute are the same as those in the original Stella scent--- although their measurements differ, allowing for the same recipe to create a whole new dish. Rose Absolute is slightly deeper overall, with just the rose lightened and given more of a central placing, surrounded then by peony, mandarin, rose essence and warm amber.

For me, this fragrance is for evening, as well as cool weather---it pairs nicely with rich, deep-colored clothing typically worn in winter. The notes are identical to a burgundy rose in full bloom. It's very elegant and sophisticated, and always gets compliments!
