I really love this perfume - I bought it untested by the description alone, which is unusual for me, but I was not sorry. It is sweet and comforting yet sexy at the same time, and it's perfect for colder weather. The vanilla is of very high quality and overall the perfume is not as heavy as some Oriental style scents, due to the delightful fruit components. I hope I never have to be without it now that i have discovered it.

This is a very fascinating and attractive scent. I love this perfume. This perfume is for a daytime wear with it's notes of blackcurrant and grapefruit. I love this exotic perfume because of it's originality. I love this product since ever. It is a timeless classic with notes of blackcurrant, jasmine, grapefruit and vanilla. It makes me feel fascinating! I think that the best thing about this perfume is that it is a soft oriental, and exotic scent. It is a strong scent but could also be used by light tone hair women. When i need something strong and fascinating - this perfume is it. When I feel like something sweet and exotic - this product is perfect

Review of Alchimie by Pamela Es

Alchimie has notes including grapefruit, bergamot, and black currant bud. This overture is very short-lived, and then the sweetness of the second movement begins. The middle notes of jasmine and acacia are almost candy-ish, but in a nice way. Reminiscent of Lolita Lempicka, only not as sweet. As Alchimie moves into its third movement, it becomes exquisitely warm, spicy and woodsy with a sweet vanillia base note. Very nice, and very long lasting. And the price is right with Alchimie. It's worlds less expensive than the pricey Quelques Fleurs Royale by Houbigant but smells VERY similar to it. Alchimie's bottle is a beauty. A little goes a long way with this fragrance. Alchimie does exactly what its name implies: it magically transforms itself on the wearer’s skin from a fruity green to a rich gold. Go smell it, and see what I mean.

Review of Alchimie by Michelle Lee

Alchimie is one of my favorite fragrances to wear for the evening. It has notes similar to that of J'Adore, which I also love. It's a warm, vanilla-y, fruity floriental that is perfect for the sophisticated woman who likes to have a little fun! The bottle is a gorgeous piece of art in itself. What is there not to like about Alchimie?

Review of Alchimie by Rara Ornan

This falls into what I like to call my "creamsicle/dreamsicle" fragrance category and everytime I say that, it's because it has two qualities I don't care for: overt fruity (in this case, orange) sweetness and serious vanilla undertones. I wanted to like this so badly based on the bottle, which in the version I tried, was a limited edition brushed crystal flacon which lies on its side. Beautiful indeed and made me think a bit of Chaos' icicle bottle. The first spray was not bad, bearable for me, but as it dried it got more and more sweet and vanillia-y. Not my thing.
