I wore Jean Nate as a teenager, was away from it for a while due to an alergic spouse, but reintegrated it into my life about 4 years ago. Having gone through 2 large bottles, I ordered more through eBay. I thought I'd gotten a bad bottle, so I went to Walgren's where I bought another. It too smelled badly off - musky in a very unattractive way. I'm so disappointed that they've changed the formulation. Why would Revlon tamper with a beloved product? I wrote to the company and they acknowledged that they had changed the formula. How sad. I loved the fresh smell of the original, which I wore on a daily basis. I've been trying to find something similar to replace it as I don't necessarily want to wear perfume day-to-day. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have been wearing Jean Nate for something like 20 years or so (I know its been a long time) and have had a hard time finding it of late. Then I ran into it at Walmart and bought a bottle of the Splash. I tried it and it STUNK! What happened???? I tried it again, same stink as before. Then tried it on my mom to see if perhaps my body chemistry changed and made it smell bad on me. But it stunk on my mom too! So, now I am researching the smelly Splash product on line and see that more ladies think also like me: the new Jean Nate Splash STINKS. I have used it 2 days now and gotta take it back for a refund or return it to Revlon. All I know is that i cannot wear the new scent. Please bring back the ORIGINAL Jean Nate Splash...please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I ran into it at Walmart and bought a bottle of the Splash. I tried it and it STUNK! What happened???? I tried it again, same stink as before. It's a new formulation. It always smelled that cheap and tacky. My aunt used to give me a set every year for Xmas and every year i had to return it for something else at Long's Drugs. It's a horrible cheap bug spray scent. I recoil when I come across someone wearing it.

I have tried all kinds of bath products, perfumes, etc. but I consider Jean Nate After Bath Splash my favorite for all time. It is invigorating, fresh smelling and never fails to give me a lift when I smell that wonderful fresh fragrance. I have always received complements on how the scent comes across to others. It is great for any time, or season.

I am going on 60 and have worn Jean Nate since I was about 15 yr old. I noticed right off the bat that it was not the same crisp,summery,citus scent it used to be...and I too returned it. Well I found out that the anything but wonderful scent was now the new formula. I hate it and will look till I find one to make my new summery tropical light scent. The new notes you have used actually seem to make me feel nauseous. I am not trying to be mean. Please ..please give us our original Jean Nate back!

I have worn Jean Nate for close to 40 years. The fragrance was clean and fresh and strangers often commented on it and asked me what fragrance I was wearing. My husband loved it so much he helped me stock up on the 30oz sized bottles of After Bath Splash. It was my signature scent and everyone in the family loved it. Recently, my stock ran out and we bought a bottle of After Bath Splash while out shopping. To my horror when I applied it the next day it had a dreadful body odor smell to it. The beautiful clean, fresh scent was gone. I thought the bottle was bad and returned it to the store for another bottle. Sadly, the second bottle had the dreadful body odor smell as well so I immediately contacted Revlon. To my dismay they informed me that the formula had been changed. I find it difficult to understand why they would deliberately sabotage a product that sold successfully for over 50 years. I am heartbroken and cannot find another scent that I like as well. I don't like heavy perfumes and I have sensitive skin that cannot handle them. Jean Nate was perfect for me. I feel as though a part of me is missing. I miss my signature scent.

Have you changed the formula for the Jean Nate After Splash? I have been wearing it for forty years and had to return the last bottle because it smelled awful and cheap. I have always worn the After Splash because of its lovely light powdery smell but no more. I am on the look out for a new scent.

This is a fresh clean classic scent. I associate it with my childhood because my mother allowed us to wear the afterbath splash, powder and spray. We were little divas :) Jean Nate after bath splash was the forerunner of all of the Bath & Body Work types you see on the market today, and it has stood the test of time. This is an inexpensive fragrance- but for the price point I think it's the best of it's class. Enjoy!

Jean Nate perfume has been around for as long as I can remember. The scent reminds me of that old lady smell that I used to make fun of when I was little. This perfume is outdated and I find it to be in comparison to that of baby powder.

Jean Nate is not for everyone. The after-bath splash would be quite a “knock out” if you combined it with the perfume and the other products. This fragrance is very fruity and lemony with and after hint of alcohol almost connotative of a cleaning solution.

I could never personally use this perfume. As I was growing up, it was always the perfume to get Mom as an after-bath splash, so it's one of those scents I associate with someone else, and not for my generation. For some reason, it smells a little spicy-floral to me and that reminds me more of a deodorant than a perfume. It is an inexpensive scent and smells like it. It’s been around forever, so I’m sure people must like this fragrance, but there are other scents in the same price range that smell better.

I can't believe this is still around. My mother used to used it as an after bath splash, a quick fix when she didnt have time to put on perfume. I used to wear it because she made me wear it and in time just wore it out of habit. The smell is way over powering because it is just an after bath splash. If you scubbed yourself hard you will definitely feel a major sensation afterward. This should only be worn by people who love the smell of rubbing alcohol all over their body and no on else. Please do us a favor and be very warned about this product.

This has a pretty, clean scent that I loved in my teens and I still use it occassionally many years later. It has proved the test of time, in my book.
