"I used to love this perfume, and I do still think it's very unusual (except all of the knockoffs of this scent, of course). After I'd worn it for a while, though, I got really sick of it. It's "artificial" smelling, as another reviewer said before me. And a downfall of its distinctiveness is that everyone can immediately tell what you're wearing, and associate it with someone else they already knew (it's a very popular scent, after all), for better or worse. "This perfume is not my favorite but its not bad. I think it all comes down to preference. It turns out, as I found it with Cool Water, that I definitely prefer a perfume that smells like flowers or fruit. This has more of a clean and fresh scent. It almost smells like soap! The only place I would wear this is the beach to be honest with you. This is not a perfume for evening, it is best worn in daytime. To sum it all up: I like it but I don't love it. The best thing about it is the nice blue bottle it comes in. Oh and I love the body wash because this fresh scent is perfect for a shower. I recommend this if you prefer a clean scent and don't really like the flowery and girly scents. "This is one of the few perfumes that smells better right after I apply it; most perfumes smell better after they “develop” on my skin, but Cool Water smells its best within ten minutes of application. It starts out fruity and light, thanks to the melon, pineapple, and lily top notes. The base notes are sandalwood, peach, vetiver, and mulberry, but on me, the combination of notes smells slightly acidic and artificial.
