Polo Explorer Cologne for Men by Ralph Lauren
Polo Explorer by Ralph Lauren cologne is aromatic-woodsy fragrance for men, launched in 2007. The ruggedly masculine fragrance opens with South African mandarin and Sicilian bergamot. The heart brings spicy coriander notes and leather accords, while the base introduces Cuban mahogany, Australian sandalwood, amber, and patchouli. The bottle was inspired by the world of adventure; the glass is finished with luxe-green enamel and the cap is molded in black-grip rubber with an orange stripe for a burst of energy, finished with the polo player embossed on top.

I first smelt this in the Men's Health (March 2008) magazine. I have been on a mission to find it and finally got my hands on this. I have used Tommy, Cool Water and Eddie Bauer Adventurer. I was a fan of Cool Water when I was younger but the smell wasn't to my liking. As for Tommy that will always be one of my personal favorite, along with the discontinued Eddie Bauer Adventurer. When I smelt Polo Explorer for the first time, I fell in love. The nice woody smell reminds me of being in a forest. I am a carpenter by trade and love the smell, so this is pure heaven for me. Mixed with the sandal wood and other fine smells, this is something you should at least try once. It is fairly new, but I believe it will be one of the more popular ones as it becomes available in major stores. Nonetheless, this is an amazing smell!!

Went into Macys and saw this box set on sale for $60.00 for both Colonge and After Shave. I tried with my wife beside me and she loved it immediately...I too love all Ralph Laurens colognes and this one is just another feather in Laurens cap. If you enjoy the Original and a touch of Black then you should like this one...give it a try.
