I’m back to darker ideas. There are many advantages to choosing a black-themed outfit instead of white—- not just for the shade’s slimming qualities but it’s just much more fun to be bad when you get the chance, isn’t it?
Everyone is raving about vampires this year. I’m thinking about it… the Beau was actually slightly enthusiastic examining this costume idea, but possibly only because I threatened to bite him with my fangs after the party. I like the idea because I know I look damn good in blood red lipstick, and I’m still stuck on showing off those black Gucci boots with the great buckling.
One of the hottest looks on the runway this season is biker chic, which presents me an array of leather goodies to play with in putting together this costume. My Balmain biker jacket has the chicest pointed shoulders that are almost reminiscent of Dracula’s cape. Or how good would the vampire bit look with a totally naughty semi-sheer boudoir-inspired cocktail look from Dolce & Gabbana’s new fall collection?! Paired with the deliciously devilish Poison by Dior?
My only concern, despite my abilities to out-vogue every other neck biter out there, is the lack of originality in the idea itself. I want to turn heads, and not just for the purpose of baring teeth. Back to the ol’ drawing board…
