Review of Niki de Saint Phalle by April

Niki de Saint Phalle Perfume for Women by Niki de Saint Phalle is a lovely fragrance. Very unique, starts out woody, turns floral, then dries down soft and powdery. I am going to love wearing it this fall.

Although the scent was pleasant when applied the aroma disappeared rather quickly. This Scent did not last any appreciable time.

I'm disappointed in the product listing with Perfume.com I'm having to return the product as I never intended to order a tester. I wish the word tester had been more emphasized. I have a freind that uses Niki and each year I purchase the perfume for a Christmas present.

This is one of my top three fragrances I enjoy wearing all year long! I always get wonderful compliments when I wear this one! I was very sad when it went off the market in the US a while ago. Definitely will purchase this line of items whenever available!

I was given this scent as a gift by a man that I was only mildly interested in. He was not attractive, nor did he seem like the majority of men that I dated at the time. I thanked him for the gift and quickly parked it on my vanity for several months. One morning while eager to give off to work I opted to try the perfume that came with the lotion - anywhing to get me out of the door on time. I literally fell in love with this fragrance. It has a complex and unique top note, and only after15 years have I been able to identify the various scents that make up the lingering bottom note, This is not a perfume for the simple of mind or light of heart. It is truly beautiful. But more importantly, after I started to wear this perfume I realized that the man that had selected this scent - surely needed a second look. It took me 3 years to find him again. But when I did , I opened my heart and mind and married this intelligent, funny, man who introduced me to the perfume that I will wear for the rest of my lifel lannie

This is a wonderful fragrance, absolutely my favorite. It was my signature fragrance and I wore it day and night. I first bought it when it appeared in 1982 and have been trying to track it down ever since. It was available in the US through the 80's, then disappeared off the shelves. I bought some in 1991 at Bloomingdales. Then when it was no longer carried in the US, I bought a lot at Selfridge's in London in 1992. I was without for years until 1999 when I bought some in Brussels, then added a few more pieces in Paris. I went to Rome in 2000 and couldn't find any there & made it back to Paris in 2001, and by then it was all gone. All over Europe looking for a specific fragrance. I must be crazy. AND HERE IT IS!!!! It's rich in tuberoses, other lower notes of greens & ambers and clings to the skin for hours. For me, this is a day and night perfume. Believe it or not, I still have a cake of Nikki soap, scenting my lingerie. I'm stocking up now, so it'll carry me for a few more years. I LOVE this fragrance! kathieinmexico

This is the best fragrance I've ever found and is at a reasonable price! Why is it the best? Not only does it smell terrific, it is only fragrance I wear that causes people to comment. I am constantly asked what the name of the fragrance is. How did I find it? A woman who was sampling spilled it all over me! I walked away, but came back a few hours later as I couldn't leave without owning it!

This is so similar to a chrysanthemum fragrance, so please expect it to be a bit gifted and unusual, perhaps too heavy to some, who may prefer a more common and commercialized scent. I find that it powders off very well, is full of intrigue, and can keep that sensuous memory for hours, if applied correctly, that is. Powders softly.

Unrelentingly heavy - reminiscent of Dimetapp, popourie and a tiny dash of gassoline. Sorry. I just can't stand this one.
