Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani–fondly, Valentino, the Italian cupid of elegance—was educated at Milan’s Accademia dell Arte and studied fashion in Paris as a teen. The world-renowned fashion-award winner Valentino was hired by Jacques Fath, Balenciaga, and then Jean Desses in 1950. Five years later, he joined Guy Laroche. A decade passed and Valentino made a solo mark on the the fashion world with his first Italian collection and salon, opened in Rome and a bulls-eye striking the fancy of Elizabeth Taylor. In 1991, Valentine celebrated Thirty Years of Magic with a three-day party that was rumored to have cost $5 million. Opulent and flamboyant, high-living Valentino once drove his Valentino-red, bulletproof Mercedes on the streets of Rome. He played himself in the movie, The Devil Wears Prada. A few of his fragrances: include Vendetta and Vendetta Pour Homme, Very Valentino, Very Valentino Homme and Valentino Gold, and others. A few of his loves: pugs Molly, Milton, Monty, Margot, Maggie and Maude.

I love it. Used it for several years now, and only it. I often get compliments on it. The bad thing is that they dont sell it in Norway anywhere, and duty-free also stoped selling it. they say its out of production?! Good thing I can still get it here then! lol :) Thnx Perfume.com!

I too am extremely picky about fragrance. My mother picked Valentino V Perfume for Women by Valentino out for me several years ago in a duty-free store on the way back from Europe and since then, it is the only scent I wear. I get compliments on it regularly. Sephora quit carrying it, and now Perfume.Com is the BEST way to buy it!
