Hanae Mori Cologne for Men

Hanae Mori, a student of Japanese literature at Tokyo Woman's Christian College, turned to a study of design and the movie industry, creating costumes for more than 100 films. “East Meets West”—Mori’s first New York collection—debuted in 1965. Milan’s Madame Butterfly, Salzburg’s Elektra and Nureyev’s Cinderella claim Mori’s famed costume touch. Launched in 1995, Mori’s first perfume—Hanae Mori Butterfly, launched in 1995—delighted women with its butterfly-winged glass bottle top. Similar enchanting and exquisitely-designed scents followed, like Haute Couture, Homme, HM and Magical Moon. Mori’s final Parisian show in 2008, her bitter-sweet farewell to haute couture, was aflutter with adulation and embroidered butterflies—the long-respected symbol of her house.
