Though the first Gucci fragrance was introduced in 1974, it was not until the 1990s that Gucci scents became widely popular. Working with the world’s largest family owned perfume and flavor company, Firmenich of Switzerland as well as Givaudan, who can trace its history in France back to 1796, Gucci was able to create such memorable colognes as Gucci by Gucci, Gucci by Gucci Sport, Gucci Guilty, Gucci Guilty Intense, Gucci Pour Homme, Gucci Pour Homme II and Gucci Pour Homme Sport.
